tea time?

I am on day 30 since they cracked the soil. They are doing well and I havent fed them any nutes except foiler feeding with liquid kelp and molasses during watering. My soil has alot of organic nutrients already but I am currently brewing 1tbsp mexican bat guano, 1 tbsp mollases and 1 tablespoon liquid kelp in a gallon of water with an air stone. Because of the nutes in the soil:

All natural rich blend of Fir bark fines, forest humus, sphagnum peat moss, perlite, worm castings chicken manure, bat guano, kelp meal and pH balanced to 6.5 with oyster shell and dolomites limes.

I am concerned about burning them with the mexican bat guano... Think they would be ok for feeding them a tea now?

Here's a great tea mix for vegging plants...

Veg mix-
1/3 cup Peruvian Seabird Guano (PSG)
1/3 cup High N Bat Guano (Mexican)
1/3 cup Earth Worm Castings (EWC)
5 tsp. Maxicrop 1-0-4 powdered kelp extract
5 tbs. Liquid Karma
5 tbs. Black Strap Molasses
@ 1-cup mix/5 gallons of water every 3rd watering.

Use as directed and your plants will JUMP! :yoinks:

Hey Dan:

The only way to know for sure is experimentation. Try diluting the tea 4:1 with water and feeding it to a choice few plants. Keep track of how they do in comparison to the others (who should recieve only water). You could even try different dilution rates, full str, 2:1, and 4:1. Watch them closely over the next two days for any changes, either spurts of new growth or tipping and leaf curling (signs of overferting). Becareful with molasses as it is pretty concentrated, I find a tsp/gal to be a nice gentle sweetener. Also be careful combining kelp and molasses as they both contain fairly high doses of K. I dont think you should have any problems with your mix, but proceed slowly at first just to make sure. The plants look great, so any change after feeding should clearly indicate its effectiveness. Good luck!
