Hi guys,
I have a nice run in coco (https://growdiaries.com/diaries/454...dow-ripper-seeds-grow-journal-by-memento-mori).
Right now i'm using 100% RO from my deumid plus my RO sistem.
I heard a lot of times is a good practice to mix with tap water, but i have prefered always to mix a good amount of calmag.
My tap water is really hard something like 1300 ms (650ppm scale 500) and 7.X ph, should i mix like a 20% anyway?
In any case root are thriving!
Sorry for my english!

Peace

Memento

When having access to RO, my preference is to use it. I like to paint on a blank canvas. It’s your grow, your show though. She looks good.

hello brother,
my tap water is almost the same, a little higher EC.
imo it's too nasty to mix, but as said before, it's your show.
cheers

In the past 2 weeks, I've used melted snow a few times for my plants. No doubt it's the closest thing to rain water.
Being Winter here, I have a whole backyard full of snow. The tap water seems to have more minerals in it than I was
used to where I was living the last time I grew.

That is really hard water, have you ever ran your water through a whole house filter then tested it? I'm guessing you have a lot of iron in your water.

Thanks all guys,
no i have never tested it.
I'm asking because it can be an easy way to add cal and mag for free, and dont waste all the water i need to make RO water since i need somelike 100L/week at flowering times.

Peace.
