Tap water 252 ppm

Hey guys,

I'm used to being in a place where water is pretty good. Now I have terrible water and want to know what my options are to fix it. I was thinking of getting an RO system

What do you guys think? Will this water be ok for seedlings in soiless mix?

My tap runs somewhere around there. Mostly calcium. I never had any issues running straight tap from seedling to harvest. Dirt and DWC, no probs. Your mileage may vary though

Check your water supplier's website for their water quality report. Unless it's very unusual, you can pH the water to near 7 before mixing nutes. If you use Citric Acid, like Earth Juice pH down, it will turn some of the Ca, Mg into more available citrates. Good luck. -granger
