what we have here are feminised Nivarrna Supergirls more info here thay are growing under 400w growlux lights, they are about 30 days into the flip to 12/12 but only about 17 days from first show of sex.

inexplicably one is over 6 foot and the other is five and a half (this strain was supposed to be bushy!!!)

if have done well with these i am not taking any of the credit, all i did was leave them to it, this is my first grow so took one road and stuck to it, this is as near to organic as i can get, they are in Bio Bizz All Mix and i only started fertilising them when i put them to flower, (Bio Bizz flower fert)

about the only proactive measure i took was to clip a few of the weaker leaves out early on.

one thing i am worried about though is them turning hermie on me. i have read some posts that are not exactly complamentary about feminised seads for this reason

took these yesterday,

i am having to stop myself from stroking them















can any one tell me how i known when are ready... i have read SOOOOO much conflicting advice

Thats easy. Can be done two ways(probley your confilicting info)

Buy a magnifier x100 from radio shack and look at the tricomes(the little suckers that get you high!).
When you start seeing 30-50 percent turning amber from clear, time to hack down.This is the geeks ways of doing it, but the best way most accurate way.

Or you can do it the way 90 % of the growers out there do it.That is watching untill the white hairs start turning red. most wait untill 50% red 50% white. Some will hack even earlier 30% red 70% white.

IN both cases if you wait for 50/50 red hairs or 50/50 amber tricomes you will get more of a coutchlock stone. If you take a bit earlier you will get more of a heady stone.

exactly what i wanted to know...

going to try and not make a newbie mistake an hack them too early... resulting in my friends doing this

and cheers for the advice about when to cut... i never knew cutting early/late could alter the buzz
