tall plants

hello, i was wondering if anyone can help me out, i know some guy who has these plants that are getting to big for his tent and they are getting close to touching the light, there about 4 and a half to 5ft tall, they have been growing for about 7 weeks.

you could try bending the stem slowly to kink it but not snap it to keep it lower and retain that growth. possibly tie it into position. look up bonsai wire training on google

Maybe try putting some chicken wire over top of them to push them down then let the tops grow up through it. Be careful not to break any of the tops.

Or did he veg 4 and is 3 months into 12/12?

I've done longer veg periods than that when starting out with regular seed. It's not that unusual, I don't think.

ok but knowing you're in a confined space why would you continue to veg, thats all.

your screwed. if they are that tall . when you flower they will stretch alot. lots of training and bending. me i would say screw it and make a bunch of clones

I would cut everything above the 3rd node off and veg it for a couple weeks.(Clone the top out) Hell, whats 2 more weeks compared to 7. This will make the plant a short bush. IMO
