Taking grow equipment from USA to Canada - Legalities

Hey guys,

Does anyone know the legalities associated with bringing grow equipment from USA to Canada?

I am bringing 1 light, fans, and a tent. Everything is 100% clean but it has been used before.

I'm 95% sure that I'm going to be searched due to a minor past offense that is still on my record.

I will obviously be 100% clean and have nothing actually illegal on my person.

Can I bring this equipment across the border without hassle/them confiscating it?

Thanks

seconded on the 'mail it.' Seems impossible to be 100% clean when they can make up their own BS at any time when you're crossing. If the stuff has one little speck, you could face international trafficking charges. I doubt you disassembled the fan, scrubbed out the ducting and joints in the tent, etc. Even if you did, if the stuff has one little speck, you could face international trafficking charges.

Check out what people will pay on CL. if you're moving anyway, it won't matter if they figure out you grow. you could sell that as a 'complete' setup, and probably get back 70-80% of what you paid.

Good luck on the move, mail the equipment....or buy new stuff(i know, easier said than done)....but don't let them get a heads up on your plan!!!!!

well you'll need new equipment anyway. canadas electricity runs on the metric system not normal like ours , therefore different outlets. lol jk
