Taking clones from sick plants

Have a few girls that are not doing so well, posted about them in infirmary under FloraNova Bloom problem. Girls just flipped to 12/12 and only one looks decent other 2 have worse problems. Going to try to solve problem, but if they do not get better could clones be taken from the decent parts and make a comeback after being rooted? One of them is growing way faster, but has either ph lockout or def. Do not want to waste a month trying to get another seed to grow.
Any suggestions?

ya as long as its not totally gone it would be worth cloning, and the clone would most likely grow out to be much more healthy than the mom (if given the proper attention)
Although a unhealthy clone is sure to take longer to root than a healthy one, but still very much doable.

Generally, the healthier your cutting, the quicker and easier it is to root... but that said, survival is a powerful motivator. I've had a couple I thought had 0% chance when I took them end up rooting and taking off. It certainly won't hurt to try. It may not hurt to take clones now either, before they get any worse.

Of course, if you can't solve the original problem in the first place, it may all be for naught.

Just be prepared for an extensive rooting period. If it's started flowering, it could take up to 30 days before it starts to look rooted, and growth will be slow until it's re-vegged out of it. Since the mother is sick, this could take even longer than that.
However, if the plant is a keeper, or you just need a cutting for a mom, it's worth trying.

You are right need to get to the bottom of the problem to solve it. They will only be in 12/12 for a week, so they will have not started flowering yet. It is worth trying, and maybe the moms can be saved. Might have to go back to old nutes, not doing so good with FloraNova so far. Had a few pH issues early on, maybe that is it?

FloraNova is great, but it's ESSENTIAL that you shake them VERY well. Like a Paint Mixer for 15 minutes shake them. Not doing so, can lead to nute lockout, ph issues, burning, and more. There are a few guides that pertain to effective methods of working with the FN series, I hope you've read up on it.
