This plant was very easy to grow. It wasn’t a huge eater, but it wasn’t fussy either. It grew quickly, was easy to train, and was fast in both veg and flower (done in 51 days). Out of a pack of 10 I only received 2 females. The yield was good on this pheno (which leans heavily to c99), and it’s been curing for almost 2 weeks.
Upon opening the jar I am greeted with a light fruit smell. This herb has a very sweet aroma, reminiscent of berries and candy, very very sweet. Upon breaking the nugs up this sugary smell is joined by a more noticeable citrus scent. The nugs are covered in many tiny trichs, giving a snowy appearance. They are of a very good density, and there is a presence of a good amount of dark brown hairs.
*Bic flicked, bowl lit*
The first thing one notices after taking a rip of this herb is the strong, almost “stinging”, taste of it. A light fruity back round is first observed, followed by vanilla and a biting “tang” taste. It’s hard to put in words, but “vanilla tang” is the best way I can describe it. The smoke is smooth, but is noticeable, and you will cough if taking enough in.
The high slowly builds up, and then BAM, it hits you. This right here is ideal daytime smoke. The high is very functional (but still trippy), and the high is a very happy one. It’s almost all in the dome: a soaring head high is accompanied by a relaxing body high. I like that last part a lot, this herb relaxes my body a great deal, but it won’t lay me out. Potency is very good, but it’s not up there with the heavyweights. Don’t be fooled, however, this herb will make you geek out with your friends big time. To sum it up: great smell, awesome taste, a very nice high and some nice looking nugs; I like Tahoe Blue a lot.
8.5/10
(Expect a report on the blueberry pheno some time this week, as well as a few more pics to be added to this thread)
Peace
