T5 & Seedlings Question

so i have a 2' T5 HO 25w fixture with a stand over my propagation dome but have a couple of questions.

1. Should my light cycle for this T5 be the same for my young plants as when i take them to the tent for 18hrs on; 6 hours off? Or should i keep the T5 on for 24hrs and go 18/6 when they are ready for the 1000w mh?

2. Should i daisy chain another 25 watt fixture for a total of 50w? Whats appropriate for new young plants?

thanks, this is my first indoor grow...have done outdoor but comparing the two is like apples and oranges.

Doubt you need more than 1 of the strips. You could do 24/0 or 20/4 with the baby plants, no need for 18/6 yet though really. Once they get a little too big for the T5 you can start giving them 6 hours of darkness.
