Hey peeps..
Im suffering from symph´s, and i read the sticky that it might stem from animal manure...im using guano in my recipe, and my question is if the bucket of guano should be discarded, since this is the only manure i added...or should i not worry about it?

It depends, if you want to keep it cause your cheap lol j/k you will have to treat the manure with the same stuff you use to kill them where your plants are at.

You heard of mosquito dunks? bacsislic or something, can't remember how to spell it.

Use 1 dunk per gallon of water and repeat every 7 days as necessary.
At least I think that is what you use, I am pretty sure that is one of the items you can use to rid of them. Some one correct me if I am wrong.....

Are you sure that is what they are? What do they look like when you water your plants and they come out the bottom.....

Yea i am sure its symphs. I read up alot about em and studied it hard..and im sure...plus my mother plant is dying fast. I bought a product called Vectobac which contains the BTi that you speak of and im givin her a second treatment tomorrow along with a repotting and some trichoderma. I guess it would be safest to discard the guano, but im not sure wheter its the source...

WHat soil mixture are you using? Soil can be contaminated too, but mostly manure is the cause, if the soil already has manure, the soil can also be affected before you even bring it home.
