Hey gang. Much to my aggravation i have gotten symphilids in one or more of my mothers. I would order Gnatrol if the shippin across the pond wasnt like 6 times the cost of the product. But i know that the active ingredient is bacillus thuringiensis and my question is: Will any product containing bacillus thuringiensis be good enough to kill these fuckers? I found something called DiPel here in Denmark http://www.valent.com/agriculture/products/dipel/overview.cfm
Theres more than one manufacturer, but they all contain bacillus thuringiensis.

Do yall think this is what i need?

Well it turns out that Dipel wasnt the answer...the BT is not the right strain. But i just ordered something called Vectobac which contains the BTi that i need...so i hope that this will kill that bastards

This sounds rare to me... Id just take a bunch of clones and dump the roots. Symphylids are very difficult to control. Out in the field for agriculture, Symphylids require some of the strongest insecticides with the highest residual activities. All are on the restricted chemical list here in the US. I wouldnt risk the plant sucking up the chems necessary to off these things or the good chance of residual populations.

Keep your soil away from the ground if youre getting these things.

If you truly have Symphylids and not springtails,

Gnatrol.

BGH carries it but they are douschebags.
