switching to OF and smaller pots

i currently grow large plants in 25 gal pots with a heavily amended recycled soil. I plan on switching to smaller 7 gal bags and to fox farm oceans forest soil. I currently live and grow in a 3rd floor apartment so its just a pain in the ass to mix up so much soil and transplant so im looking for a more poor and go style organic soil.

the soil mix i plan on using:
1 bag of OF
8-10 cups of alaskan humus
8-10 cups of EWC
10-15 cups of DE
30% perlite

I really just wanna see what people think about this soil mix and if theres anything else i should add. Ill probably end up adding some crab shell for added cal/mag and possibly some natures pride bloom dry fertilizer just for a lil extra kick depending on size of the plants.

Seems like alot of DE... and the perlite are you making it so it is 30% total or adding 30% more to it?

I've used their 707 mix with my first run this year and their Original mix with amendments with success before.

Good value and good nutes.
I've used their dry and bottled nutes also.
They give freebies out a lot, so I gladly accept.

I recently have mixed Vermifire and Strawberry Fields and had great results. Just water for the first 3-4 weeks no problem.

I dont use any other fox farm products. If I use liquid nutes I use age old organics, but I try to stick with top dressings and teas.

If you have a few xtra bucks try the Coast of Maine "Stonington Blend" soil ...way better than FFOF. My current run is using it and it has been water only, the girls have 2-3 weeks left and they are doing fine
