switching light cycle?

I run few plants from 5pm to 11am and i want preparing it for outoor so i must place light cycle from 5am to 9pm!
or they will adapt or is it too much stress

If they were my plants and not in bud I would turn them off at 9 PM and schedule them for 5 AM turn on.
The short 4 hour day will not interfere and the plants will continue to continue.

Thats fine when I do light changes I do it at night. so when there off at 11am dont turn them back on until 5am the next day thats 18 hrs of dark and then continue.

A one time glitch does no harm. Go cold turkey. A slow gradual shift is begging for trouble.
