Switching from day on cycle to night

Hey has anyone had experience changing which half of the day is the on cycle mid flower? Utilizing outside air as part of the intake/exhaust and it will be more practical for cooling and overall temperature balance between day/night to run lights at night vs. during the day. Just concerned about stress and don't want to give the girls any reason to herm out. There are several ways of switching the lights to on at night, which would be least stressful (or am I overthinking it?)?

Whose done this before and was there any negative?

So... leave the light on for 24 hours to correct cycle, or leave light off for 24 hours, or slowly adjust on/off over the course of a week such that everyday the lights will come on an hour or so later (and stay on an hour or so later) ? ? ? Gracious

If it were me I would split the difference. I'd do 18 hours of light, followed by 18 hours of dark. I don't think it really matters that much. I don't see one abnormal day causing that much stress.

If it's to be done I would do it gradually alternating between extra hours of light and extra hours of dark.

I havent switched a hole room but ive pulled one out of a room that was running during the day to put in a room that was running at night.i puleed it right before light on and put in other room right at light out so it got 24 hr of dark. Didnt notice any problems with it.

I've done it following the seasonal temp changes back before I ran mini splits. I have a perpetual setup. I just run then 24 hours dark when switching. Never had an issue.

yep lights off for over 24 hrs....more like 36 hrs since you will be going from say 8am on to 8pm off to now running 8pm on 8am off so that takes 36 hrs. It won't hurt anything. I run night time all year 12 am to 12 pm helps the cold winter and hot summers as I don't use ac
