Right now I'm vegging 18/6. But I would like to switch to 24. How will this affect my plant?

Will it be ok to switch now during dark period or wait till light period and leave on then?

OP, if you are going to check out that thread, just a heads up - mine and many other's experiences with differing lighting routines (mainly "pro-24 hours people") were deleted by moderators.

I've had to do 24/0 to control temps, but since I've added a heater/thermostat 18/6 saves on power with no discernible decrease in growth rate.

I keep all the floro's on 24 now. HID'S I still think the dark time helps alot. If you top water by hand they drink more so watch that until you learn the differences.
