Switchable electronic ballasts

I asked my hydro dealer about the 600 watt electronic ballast, and he told me the 400's were switchable (use MH or HPS), but not his 600's.

Here's a site I found that seems to be selling 600's that are switchable.

Anyone got any familiarity with this ballast? Also, have seen some people say that the RF interferes with their TV and Satellite signal. My room is very close to my theater room. I will not tolerate fucked up channels due to a ballast. Has this problem been fixed?

Most are tested and don't produce rf interference.

Most digital ballasts are switchable but the 600w isn't because they don't make a 600w mh bulb.

Not sure on the quality of galaxy, try running a search.

sauce has it

apparently all digital ballasts have the ability to strike both a MH or an HPS, but the quality and length of the bulbs life will diminsh (whichever it wasnt made for, i.e. a digi 400w HPS could strike a MH, but the MH wouldnt last as long as normal.

i have a 400w switchable (digital) and i dont have any RF, put it next to my comp because the guy i purchased it from guaranteed me it wouldnt produce RF interference. . .
