Switch over time ? 12/12?

Hi People... So some of you might have seen my previous threads. I have pretty much covered most of the indoor fu$%ups that one could encounter. I have had shit soil , failed fan , failed thermometer and a bulb failure all in about 6-9months...

Anyway, fast forward to present day and I managed to salvage 2 plants that are healthy mums? ( Havent sexed them so hoping )

Below is the pics of the clones. There is fairly large internodal spacing as my lighting was far too high. (150w HPS). I have Now brought it in about 20cm above my scrog. Also my plants consistently sit at 21 deg c but twice a week they spend 12hrs at 29 deg c. Its a long story but thats how it is. Would this cause the spacing/stretch??

Most importantly , I would like to know from the pics below... Can I switch over to 12/12?? opinions??

I have approximately 60 cm from scrog net to bulb. I have 5 plants under the scrog. The gamble is also going to be that hopefully both 'mother' plants are female, otherwise I have to cut them down The ratio of clones is 3 from plant A , 2 from Plant B.


I cant wait to find out what I have sex wise and to grow some much needed bus

I usually flower when I think the plants will fill up my grow space. It doesn't look like you are there yet, especially since you don't know if your plants are male or female. This said, if you don't have anything smoke.....

Also, there is a pretty good chance that you can sex those plants. Most healthy plants will show their sex within a month of sprout under magnification (see sexing thread in my sig).

Edit: Your plants look very "thin". Get the light closer if possible and up-pot with some good soil (very important). You ought to be able to get them filled out within a couple of weeks. This would increase your yield substantially.

Ya the light was like 80cm+ off the seedlings initially so I think thats why they so thin but I have got that light right down to blaze them into some serious growth!

I will also attempt to sex them through your tutorial. Appreciate the adive

I keep a 400w HID less than 1' (30cm) from the tops of the plants. Get that light as close as you can without burning or heat stressing the plants.

Yup , I know.. Mine is now approx 18-20cm above the plant tops
