Sweet Tooth???

Anyone with Sweet Tooth experience please chime in.. My question is who has the better Sweet Tooth, Spice of Life or Barneys?

When I say Spice of Life, im refering to this 1.1 they have available. Barneys says they have the 01 cannabis cup winning Sweet Tooth. Any info would be great. Thanks - Cough

They are completely different strains. Not related at all. Don't believe the hype on Cannabis Cup winners. Those titles are bought and paid for. They don't mean shit. I've grown Swt#3 and #4 and would easily reccomend #3 to anybody. #1.1 will be more blue berryish but I'd still give it a shot. SOL Sweet Tooth line is very nice. You will be happy for sure.

Yeah I don't know if it actually is but didn't barney's say theirs was a sativa. I agree about the cup winners but that helter skelter full melt rubbed charas he made from the sweet tooth looked like something I wouldn't mind having a few grams of. He claims he studied how to make charas for years in india. I don't know how full of shit he is. Though it can be tricky I don't see it as something you can study for years. I know the sweet tooth #3 and the original #1 he made in canada were good. The 3 and from what I hear the deep chunk will be (just started) the only plant I've grown that I felt the need to trim the leaves to let light through. In the #3 I got two different phenos. One was a really fast insanely dense banchles 1 was 6 week 1 was 7 weeks indica with slight purpling of the calyxes and the buds were like 1" dense acorns structures similar to a really dense large calyx blueberry that was sweet smelling but didn't yield as well though it only too 2/3 as long so that makes up for it. The other which was more common about 3:1 had many white hairs and lots of huge leaves was heavily branched and high yielding. I think that one was 8-9 weeks if I remember correct. It was more sweek sour skunky smelling. This was the very first batch of sweet tooth 3 that cam out but I don't think the parents have changed at all.

I dont know what is with #3, but #4 is a solid indica with a light fruity (maybe grapey if you have some imagination) and a red-eye cloudy high with a short duration ...
Go with Blockhead if ya can find some and you will be more happy than with #4 , as already said maybe is #3 more potent than Blockhead ... but BH is much more flavorful and has a kick ass weight when dry

Blockhead from Spice of Life (2001 selection )

I assume the #4 is probably more consistent but have no experience with it. I gave some blockhead freebies gypsy gave me to my indoor protege who I'm sure will do it justice. I want to do some breeding work with it. I know sol strains are very good for mold resistance but the pics I've seen are just too dense to do outside in my area. Does anyone know the pedigree of the blockhead? I remember reading somewhere it was like a sweettooth african sativa cross but can't remember for sure. I'm thinking f2s and either deep chunk ghanaian accra skunk or c99 pollen would be good Has anyone tried the new blue satellite version that came out recently?

I'm w/ FJ and OGrefugee....go w/ BLOCKHEAD (I'm a BH freak tho) :D

"zamalito"
BH has the same daddy as SWT#3, and has a mystery african sativa mommy.

DJShorts Blueberry is in the family line as well....we have discussed this before in another thread. so I'll either get the link and post it on here in a second, or I'll copy the info from it if its not spread out all over the thread.

That's weird about the freebie blockheads being runts. I'll try to veg them a bit longer maybe that'll make up for it or just ake f2's right away and not worry about the f1's

MAKE F2'S if you can--thats exactly the plan i went with w/ BH....and crossed it to MTF... but thats a much better story...and longer.

I had a couple of homies grow out the BH from seed the same time I did.

runts werent my problem....though there are a few.....(and my best plant by FAR was a runt)... she didnt show up big until flower. (same w/ my best TFB)

poor germ rate, and just a low quality seed seemed to be what we got, but made the best out of what we had.

BOTTOM LINE:
there are some extremely exceptional genetics and Phenos in the BLOCKHEAD/SOL Family...we are only begining to hear the Breeder reports of SOL crosses esp. BLOCKHEAD.

and my boy "FJ" has said pretty much the same thing that BH hasnt been worked w/ enough by breeders...there really are some special phenos, and unlimited potential for exceptional crosses.

so make those F2's and share them w/ the world....make lots....I'm sure BH will be around for a while regardless.

Jepa the next project is for sure a Blockhead fem crossed to a heavy hazey ssH male to get some vigor in the house and some spiciness on the palate

PS:
this are the ssh´s just 14 days old :) with some other strains to select from :)

Yes #3 is the winner of the bunch. Good luck finding it though. #4 was wack in every way...compared to #3. #3 was is just killers from a grower and smoker point of view. I would assume it would be too from a breeders pov also. It is fairly stable since it is a 3x backcross.
