which is the most potent sweet tooth? #1.1 or #3? so i guess the question would b, which is more potent, sweet pink grapefruit or the djs male blueberry?

any noted differences between the TWO are welcome (yield/POTENCY/smell/taste/HIGH), or just a plain out opinion on one of them. :)

thanks in advance -hoyt

I've grown SWT#3 for quite awhile. I think it has a bit of a Rodney Dangerfield complex. It really is a good producer of decent potency flowers. I find it has good muscle relaxing properties.

I think Steve lost a lot of parental stock in Switzerland and this is the reason for the Sweet Tooth 1.1 I think it's an F2 of previous sweet tooth work..

The Sweet Tooth #3 is a Backcross to the Sweet Pink Grapefruit mother clone...

Many specimens show phenos leaning towards the Sweet Pink Grapefruit..
I am growing #3 now and it is awesome looking...High yeilds of sticky flowers..Some plants are nowhere as nice as others..Out of a pack you will have several killers to choose from....

The odor is intoxicating!!!

Take care and I hope that helps................................CC

Sweet Tooth #3 from Spice of Life - permanent resident on my top shelf performers. The taste is grapefruit influenced, kinda like last years' Christmas rum cake. :pointlaug

Clones like a dream, fast fat grower that doesn't request a lot of special attention or nutes. You'll need room though, this plant can produce 12" long fan leaves with 2" wide blades. One fan leaf entirely covered a 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper. Finishes under 55 days usually but I like it closer to 70, heavy fat dense nugs that invite mold - extreme care during curing! Very hardy from pests and somewhat forgiving of neglect. Depending on your grow style you can top a lot and end up with huge multiple colas on a 5 foot plant, or you can flower her early for one 2-litre jug-sized main cola 3 foot christmas tree.

Hope that helps a little....see ya in chat. :woohoo:

#3 is a winner. Yields great but watch for mold and bud rot from the really thick colas. Top them to avoid this and keep it windy. Low humidity is a must as well.

Nice! I was looking for some SWT#3 veg pics. I wanted to compare them to my SWT#3 x Lightstorm hybrid. I'm trying to figure out what pheno I got.

#3 is very good, very popular here in Spain
#4 is almost unknown here...I don´t know any grower who has it.
I´ve heard that #4 is mold resistant. Also,it was created using the same father than #3,but the mother was from L2 line...instead of the SPG cutting.
Now...does anyone know the make-up of that L2 line? :D

Hola Shmokin,
I´ve heard that it´s not mold resistant and that it´s not SO early finishing as advertised.
However, the father of TRC Texas Mystic was a Sweeth Tooth #4 male....
....and TM/Alibi is NOT crap at all....:D

How can you tell what generation it's from? I ordered mine from Seedbay(Sweet Tooth), though more specifically they are from Barney's distributed through Seedbay. I did not see anything on the page about the generation of that type of Sweet Tooth.

I'd love to hear what you guys think about it since I will be growing some soon most likely.

*edit* Shit! I am doing a microgrow with my Sweet Tooth. The plants will only have about 26 inches at most to grow and I had planned to ScrOG them. I foresee this being a problem now with the given descirptions I have read in this thread. I could probably do just one plant and try to let it go wild in the tub for the most part. Any ideas? BTW for an idea of space I'll be using Red_Greenery's Rubber Maid. Thanks.

 Thanks hoyt. I just care for them, they do all the work! :pointlaug

 Closet Funk - looks to me like some fat indica influence on that one, looks more like the grapefruit dad I think. When you find the lineage of the other parent let me know, I'll keep an eye out for it.

 Masterlow37 - thanks! It's an easy one to grow, even I can't screw it up. :pointlaug

 Budless - gl with yer mini- if you veg 3 weeks topping twice at the 7th node or so and flip her, she should branch out low and wide. I'd go for a bush to screen or veg it a couple of weeks and flip her at about 6-8 inches, she'll triple in height but should finish around 2-3 feet. Keep the pot size under a gallon and she should stunt well for your plans. :chin:

budless, ive read that barney's sweet tooth is more sativa than SOLs, so you might have problems in a micro grow.

ideas:
1. i would use a shorter/wider container instead of a taller/skinnier one to cut down on the height. maybe even just fill the bottom with dirt and dont use a container.
2. LST or top it, maybe both
3. try to keep the nodes closest together by
a. closest day and night temp differential (ideally would be 74f day/70f'ish at night)
b. high humidity (75% during veg)
c. having the correct spectrum of light (6500K for veg or about 440 nanometers)
4. and lastly of course flower it early

edit: also ventilation is a must in a box, temps with even CFLs would reach hell
