I planted 15 and 9 sprouted. I have two males, one excellent one good and three females, one excellent and two good. The grapefruit smell when the stems are rubbed is amazing.
Just putting them into 13/11.

I grew these out. real nice and dense nugs. I would veg them talle than you may normally for bigger buds. Thye do not stretch much during bloom. Mine were real tight nodes during veg. i had 3 females and 1 male. I use blue light for vegging. Blue light and humidity and low temps increase female/male raio, I believe.
Good luck with the swt #3. great tasting and easy to grow.

JLP-i know you know your shit when it comes to the sweet tooth strains. I got some sweet tooth #4 f2's from you in 03 that turned out to be some bomb ass nugs that me and a friend did outdoor.

dankbudz- I grew out JLP's sweetooth#4 f2's a couple years back outdoors as well, and they were the best budsI harvested out of any other strain that year! It was some killer potent grapefruit smelling/tasting budd! I would love to get my hands on some st#3 or 4 again, becasue this strain seems to be slowly fading away, and would be such a shame to see such a great strain for breeding and medicinal purposes lost
Yeah,I've grown the SWT#3 2nds and the regular ones from another bank as well,and they are the same strain to me.I've never grown SWT#3 that didn't mold on me,regardless of my grow condition.The nugs are usually dense and hard so top them well.All the SWT line is good smoke.
SWT#4 seems to lean more to the SPG side of the cross.
I think SOL is coming out with SWT#1.1 pretty soon.

Steve can't fight the mold in the all the sweet tooth lines,either....so,it seems he's scrapped the whole line and is re-doing it using the Vancouver SPG Clone against DJ's new Blueberry,or some such....and calling it 'sweet tooth version 1.1....ho,HUM.
No matter,imo that whole seedline's some low-potencey,easily-molding,heavy-yielding, fruity,but really boring....pot,and IMHO the only time ST#3 was really great was when they diluted it with the Ortega Clone and called it LUI.

I have grown both ST 3&4 from SOL.I also exsp the mold issue. One thing I would like to know JLP,have you had ANY auto flower?..Both of mine from SOL did in fact AF.
And BTW,The ST's that came from you was 10 times better IMHO.
I was kinda dissapointed in SOL for NOT mentioning this no-where,Then I did a lil research and found out the Grapefruit does have auto traits.Atleast thats the 411 I got..How say you JLP?

I've never had one autoflower but I've seen others that have and it does seem this is a trait of the Grapefruit.I've also seen people have this problem with LUI which is part Grapefruit as well.I use 24 hours of light and I flower early so I usually dont see any autoflowering,even if it's present.
They should change the flowering time on SWT#3 to"Harvest at first sign of mold".It's hard to tell if it's an actual trait or simply the by-product of dense,rock hard buds.A good topping is a must for this strain.
The SWT line has run it's course in my garden for now but it's one of those strains that's always a good choice for begginers.Other than the mold,they are extremely vigourous and hardy.

Yeah, JLP I still have a clone of sweet tooth #4 from 2 years ago when you sent me those f2's. Thank you so much for that again, they were the main reason I got so into growing! You sent me some genetics that pretty much grew themselves! They are never moldy, I found a pheno that goes heavy thick buds and is ready in 56 days, and smells/tastes wonderful! I love it and have shared it with a few people! Keep up the great work! Your first rate in my book! If you ever decide to take up breeding with some 'elites' or anything you can't seem to find that poeple have that you can't seem to get or whatever, hit me up!
