This grow started from this thread and is now a bit changed. Odor problems occured with the Durban Poison, so it had to be switched out. It was replaced with a Double Strawberry Diesel plant.
I have returned from Australia and the Sweet Dreams has more than doubled in size. When I left it looked like this:


I got home today and it now looks like this:


And a bud shot for good measure.



This is crazy! My friend may be lending me a 400w metal halide light and/or another 250w HPS. Either way I need to get more light throughout the plant.

Just wanted to get a quick update in before bed, but ill post a follow up in a few.

Aight everyone, now heres the Double Strawberry Diesel. Its heritage started when Strawberry Cough was crossed with Sour Diesel. This Strawberry Diesel strain was then crossed by another Strawberry Diesel, creating what Rezdog likes to call Double Strawberry Diesel (DSD).

Anyone have any setup suggestions as far as adding more light? The 400w MH is on a batwing reflector so that shouldn't be too hard to set up.

Oh, and as far as nutrients go, this is the set I use.

GOOD NEWS!! Last night I put in my friends 400w MH light, I might get a 400w HPS bulb because the ballast is actually HPS with a MH conversion bulb in it. The original HPS burnt out or something.
Other than that Im looking for some help, I need to find a stand thats clear so it can hold up the batwing reflector and able to have air move through it, or I need to find a stud finder I guess and try to hang the light from the ceiling.

Also, the DSD is only in plain water right now because the waterfarm had been broken for like 2-3 days and it was dying off. I was able to fix the waterfarm and we were actually gonna flower the DSD this week or next week with the 250w HPS sitting around doing nothing. We will probably wait till next week when we can throw in another one of Chamez's DSD, but that one will be and stay in soil. Other than that anyone with any suggestions about how to reintroduce nutes to the DSD? I was thinking if we switch to flower next week I'd add transition nutes today or tomorrow and start flowering nutes when the light changes.

BlackRa1n: Im happy you said that because I just got back from the Hydro store and put in a 400w HPS with a batwing reflector. I just need to hang it later instead of it sitting on books as it is now.

Aight people, the setup is now finally complete to my liking. The 400w HPS is hanging from the closet ceiling. Removing the boxes holding the light up let me put a fan up there. Now, instead of top leaves burning they must feel like their in an igloo. Heres a pic of the setup now:

That 400w light is amazing. Im seeing such a big difference in daily growth now. Hopefully it will stop stretching and just focus on the buds. Anyone know any products or techniques to make the plant focus mor eon buds then stretch?

UPDATE: I just received three cuttings form chamez: one South African Durban Poison x Skunk and two Double Strawberry Diesel cuttings.

UPDATE(again): I just traded one of the rooted DSD clones I was given for a rooted Papaya clone. I think today I am going to be putting all these little cutting (that have rooted) in soil.

Morning people. Last night I put two cuttings, SADPxSkunk and 1 DSD, into soil I got from a local nursery.


The Sweet Dreams has been in 12/12 since Nov. 26 2007 but has really only been budding since Jan. 6 2007. Does this bud progression look like it is going at a normal pace?

It has an 88 day flowering period.

Nice looking plant. It looks like a hardcore sativa and will probably not fill in fat for a couple months and will flower hard its last month. Three month strain right?
