Hey BOG, they're as sweet as the name imply's, you prolific so and so :D They could have fattened up if I grew them differently. Multicola plants under only 33 wpsf is a surefire recipe for a ton of popcorn buds. I do yield an average of 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 ounces per plant in 12 sqf nat 50 days flowering, so my numbers are pretty good for a little flower light. Way more than me and mine can smoke, thats for sure. Thanks for stoppng in and great genetics you have sir!

:tips hat:

Are you saying you have 12 plants of 1 1/4 oz?

Are you saying you have 12 plants of 1 1/4 oz?

Huh? You have 12 under a 400 with over an oz on each?

How long did you flower them? 50 days you say? Wow... ;)

How many females? Did you mean you started with 12 and now have fewer fems or did you start more than a pack?

How long did you veg them and what size pots are they finished in? BOG :)

I am excited by your results man!!! :D

I grew an 8 oz SC99 once and look how nice my buds from that big one looked if you dont mind...

Sorry, not 12 plants, 9

Sorry, not 12 plants, 9

I just upgraded the room from 9 to 12 sqf and am used to the number of plants and square footage being the same.

I yield nearly a QP of bud every 17 days or so in a continuous harvest system, thats three of these planters shown here. That's also using over the counter chemical ferts and recycled soil that goes through a cleansing program I came up with a couple years ago.

It comes out to just under 5 lbs a year

9 x 1 1/4 oz= 11 1/4 oz !!!

9 x 1 1/4 oz= 11 1/4 oz !!!

So under a 400 watter you are getting 325 or more grams!!!

You realize that is nearly a gram per watt if some were 1.5 oz?

You are an excellent grower to get that yield in soil under one light sir. Do you bother with co2?

I guess you demonstrated very well that SC99 yields well in your sort of system. I wonder how much bogglegum or lifesaver you would have yielded under the same circumstances.

I love your system. Soma recycles soil by adding some blood meal and bone meal to it. I assume you flush your soil to remove acids and salts then refortify somehow. Would you care to enlighten us further as to your method? I like your assembly line approach as it is like mine. BOG :) I just have a bigger grow.

-A gram per is my goal. Someday. No, no co2, I was always under the impression that it would be a waste with as few lumens as this garden receives per plant.

>>I guess you demonstrated very well that SC99 yields well in your sort of system. I wonder how much bogglegum or lifesaver you would have yielded under the same circumstances

-Oh man, I would love to find out. One day soon I will grow a big yielder like Big Bud, just to see what the hell this system could do weight wise. Im sure a gram per watt is doable

-Yes, I have an extensive flushing program that begins with the plants roots still in the soil. After flushing and cooling (I use hot and warm water), I screen the roots out and thoroughly dry the soil in a large reclamation box. My seedlings and freshly rooted cuts go into standard, fresh, store bought potting soil, but everything else goes into the recycled soil. I add nothing to it, actually. When a plant is transplanted, it gets full strength Superthrive and a full strength dose of 3-1-1 chem ferts and some kelp extract. Thats it.

Thanks for the kind words....makes my day :)

Great job meant to say that last post man you are a good grower! that beats my adv. but I use a 1000 hps so I would just freak if I hit gram per watt

Soil mix

Soil mix

Thanks everyone who responded :D

It was Miracle Grow potting soil and perlite equally and about 10% vermiculite. Like I said, It lasted two years and yields were consistent throughout. I decided to replace it this year since the little piees of bark in the soil were beginning to decompose in my hand. Made me kinda squirrley about using it any longer, tho to be fair, it was still yielding just what it always did to this harvest.

I am replacing all my soil with the same mix as before only instead of vermiculite I'm suing sand, and using a bit more than 10%

A few more shots from a slightly different setup. training your plants still works like a charm every time.

The new setup has 12 plants at once since I'm preparing for a seed grow and dont want all these girls contaminated.

Training can have some pretty dramatic results as in this pic with nicely sized buds on stems barely able to hold their weight.

Awesome!

Awesome!

Quite a show sir. I was hoping that you would enjoy this harvest because I find the quality of about half the plants to be Excellent and all are good. I doubt Bigbud will match the quality but try my Lifesaver sometime in your set up. It does well in lower light regimes and yeilds well also. BOG :)

Thanks everyone, I sometimes wonder if I love smoking the dried bud or manipulating the live plants more. It's just so damn fun to grow these girls from start to finish, doing things that have a positive effect that you can see and feel and taste.

greenhit, none from me, I just have the Sweet Cindy in my room. It is one of the better tasting smokes and is very smoth all the way down to the black hits. Not as potent as the Rosetta Stone in my room previously, but we have a helluva better time smoking it.

I love SC99 but...

I love SC99 but...

If you like very relaxing highs like Lifesaver then try this BlueMoonRock sometime. I guarantee this beautiful bud packs a wallop that would sit anyone back. ;) BOG

Best saved for evening unless you have some time for it...
