Swamp cooler in veg

Keeping humidity up and out of VPD range is a nightmare sometimes. Veg is always hit the hardest it seems. Has anyone tried running a portable swamp cooler in a veg room? I wouldn't mind lowering the temp and adding RH would be sweet. I have no idea if they are effective, I feel like I have seen them in some big box stores before.

I wouldn't worry about VPD unless you have your shit so dialed in that you are sure this is what's holding you back. I have grown in RH from 15% to 80% and rarely has VPD been THE issue that's kept my bag empty.

To answer you question about swamps. Yes they are very effective at adding moisture to the air especially if you re-circulate thru them.

I wonder what a good practical swamp cooler would be for most people. I know I can't fit one of those giant portable coolers they use in warehouses or whatever, but i have reservations about one of the tiny little portable ones. I think I would prefer if it was a standalone unit with no air exchange. If none of the standalones are good I don't mind an external one I guess. I don't mind running a veg room at positive pressure if it is absolutely necessary, but would prefer not to.
