Supplimenting 1ks

Got a space between two 1k hps's thats id like to hang a smaller light around 200watts that can run on 220v. I usual stick my taller girls in this spot but alot of times they out grow my hoods and the tops dont get direct light. Ive been checking out LEDs but my knowledge of LEDs is limited and theres alot of choices. Any suggestions?

I have this one right now. Using it for the same purpose as you describe, but my tall plants (6') are on an end. There are parts of a few plants and one whole plant that only get's the LED light and those parts/plant are doing just as good, if not better than the ones directly under the 1K. I'm talking bud size and density, trich coverage as well.

What are the dimensions of the area?
What is the ventilation and temps?
More details are welcomed if you are able to provide.
Maybe some rough MS Paint sketches of area etc...
Otherwise, as long as heat isn't an issue add whatever you'd like based on the spectrum for the current cycle of growth.

Overall 10x4 but the area i want to supplement is 2x3 roughly. Temps are not a issue with temps at 76f high and 69f low. Its a bloom room so bloom spectrum lighting. My 2ks run 220v off there light contoller so id like to plug light into my contoller for convenience.

They have single 150w diode models as well. I have one. So fa I love them. They provide good supplemental light, without heat, and without drawing a lot of power.

That looks like a good fixture. I bet those diodes are only pushing 3-4 watts though. I'm sure it will work just fine for what you need.

I have an LED that's about 5 years old with 3 watt diodes(prolly only 2 watt). It works well for what I use it for(supplemental light). There is aways a noticeable difference in the buds under it compared to the buds that aren't.

The SS100 isnt quite big enough footprint wise. The SS150 http://www.amaretechnologies.com/collections/solarspec/products/solarspec-ss150es is closer footprint im looking for but $400 seems pricey for such small area. DoubleTripleOG whats the footprint on the Big Eyes you got and how far away do you keep it from the tops? Basicly just trying to light up whats getting taller then between my Blockbuster hoods cross lighting. Only needs 12" penetration because 1ks hit all but tops of tall girls i stick in this area.

The 4 diode big eye has about a 4'x 4' footprint, at about 20-24" above the canopy. Right now I have the 4 eye about 12 inches above a plant with no ill effects.

What reflectors u got.... if the space is 10x4 some ocho magnums or raptors would help more then another light...
