superthrive

how often should this be added, i feel like since the last time i added it which was about 10 days or so after i initially put it in my plants bottom leaves *not the cotyledons have brown splotches between the veins on the first set of true leaves.

system:dwc
ph:6
nutes: dynagrow at approx 1/2 strength
res temps: 60-65
hydroguard added
plants are 3 weeks old
area affected: only the first set of true leaves is showing a problem the rest of the plant looks healthy and vibrant
roots are white

i really think it has something to do with the superthrive, has anyone experienced a type of burn with this product?

Sorry for no pics my cam is broke and my phone is dead right now

i would say don't add any for a while . (2 wks. )how much are you adding any way ? i haven't used the super thrive much in the dwc . but i have used dynagro .check your dynagro though and see if any has solidified in the bottom of the container .sometimes it does if it freezes or gets old .... dynagro is pretty complete and at half strength could be burning such a young plant slightly like you describe .... i fried a plant pretty well with dyna gro once ....heehee ... yeah i'll um see if un yea just a bit more mmm say 3/4 tsp/gal ... ok add a little dyna bloom ?/?? and fssssssssssss we be fryin' !!!literally only took 4 hrs ! it was funny as heck after the fact ...... heeeheeeh jus smoke the last of it recently .... yielded ok just burned the crap out of some leaves ... so stay away from the bloom (not for dwc).... ok . e nufff babble ... good luck . maybe stay with those nutes at 1/4 tsp/gal and i think they'll be fine .... many blessings ,hidingtree

hey hidingtree thanks for the info, i know its the superthrive because it didnt start until after i added it to the res (that shit is powerful) and im just gonna let it run its course and top up with ph balanced water to dilute some more.

here is a pic but its hard to see what i am refering to though

it weird its only really affecting one of my three plants all in the same res

this one is the same size as the burnt one but actually put more leaves out since the superthrive overdose with no burn

all the plants are different...if u have 1 whos bein a bitch and the rest are behaving...fuck the bitch...concentrate on the ones with problems...but superthrive is an extremely concentrated additive...i use only a couple drops per gallon...any more and u see burns and ive had some mutant leaves while using the superthrive...for a less concentrated version go get thrive alive...its 20 bucks a quart...i would just flush the soil of the burnt plant with ph balanced water and start over and lower the doses.
