Can you use too much superthrive, I am following the directions on the bottle. My question is, can you use it in every watering? would that be overkill?

I use it for every watering. And when in hydro every rez cheange. I dont know about over doing it if you go by the directions.

You can easily use to much of it, especially if you follow the label instructions.

I use it for popping seeds and through veg. cycle most of the time. I also will sometimes use it in my aerocloners Green Fuse rooting solution.

I think the label says 1/4 Tbs. per gallon which works well at that concentration for A little bigger plants. Older seedlings I was using 1 drop per gallon in addition to PBP. 1 drop that's it.
When I am popping seeds I usually do the shot glass soak for 24 hours. I put a small drop or even just get a little on my clean finger and touch it in the water of the shot glass. From a sprout to a seedling, I use strait r/o water for a couple of weeks as a seedling.

A little bit goes along way. I put 1 drop per gallon in my cloner solution and it seems to work well also. Start very light and build up from a that.

None in flower though. I have a whole other program for flower and Superthrive is not 100% organic plus I think the B-1 or something in it is to much for the plant to handle with the rest of the nutes I use.

I grow hydro, so I don't now how it goes in soil or other medias.

Smells strong as hell, almost toxic

I prefer to stay as organic as possible, especially through my flower stage , but thats just me. I haven't read the label in awhile but I think it has all kinds of synthetic crap in it.

It does seem to make for a good, rapid growing, robust growth plant.

If that's the only nute your using it may be hard to overdo it but, if it's addition to a regular fert program, I would use it sparingly.

Smells like it would taste like shit if you didn't get it flushed out.

In veg I use Foxfarm's Grow Big, and now superthive. In past grows I have used bloodmeal and maxibloom. what organic flowering ferts have you had the best experience with?

Yah what Tex says. I use it very sparingly in the early stages. One drop per gallon for seedlings and cuttings. When they get bigger I knock em up gradually. but when I'm in flower I decrease it slowly.

I USE HORMEX(1 DROP PER GAL.), WHICH IS ABOUT THE SAME THING, IN CONJUNCTION WITH B'CUZZ ROOT STIMULATOR
ON SEEDLINGS AND CUTTINGS. WORKS VERY WELL.
I DROP THE HORMEX WHEN I CAN SEE THEM REALLY START TO
TAKE OFF AND CONTINUE WITH THE B'CUZZ UNTIL THEY ARE
TRANSPLANTED AND SET UNDER THE 1000 WATT HORTILUX,
AT WHICH TIME I SWITCH AND ALTERNATE BETWEEN THE
FOXFARM GROWBIG AND THE B'CUZZ VEG FORMULA. PEACE. JACK

My flower coctail is Pure Blend Pro bloom/flower, Liquid Karma, Cal-mag, and KoolBloom. I start at about 900-1000ppm and ramp it up quick to about 1400-1600 within 10 days or so.

I started using a meter because when I followed the labels exactly, it was to much for most strains. I do the same thing on the veg side . I ramp it up from (24ppm water no nutes)300ppm-1000ppm over the veg cycle using PBP veg, LK, and a touch of Superthrive Sometimes a little cal-mag in veg if it looks like they need it.Then kick it into the flower room at 900ppm of the Flower mix.

I use the hydro formula but I have seen people use the soil formula mixes in hydro and have excellent results.

In flower PBP is weak in N and Mag and you can see it in the plants. I played with Silica Blast a little in flower but, I would always see Rez harpin about addin any silicon or the like so I quit.

When I mixed the PBP flower + ammendments by the label it was well over 2000ppm which is were my meter maxed. Then I diluted the hell out of it like 5 or 6 gallons and it broke 2000. But it was damn strong.

2 x 2 e&f tables w/20 gallon res.
250w mh veg.
600w hps flow.

Texas Kid-You use both SuperThrive and Liquid Karma? They are basically the same thing except for some organic issues with ST. I have heard that mixing stimulators/enhancers will increase the chance of having a reaction in your res or medium. Green Fuse strongly advises against using it with others. I use ThriveAlive B-1 Organic with every drop of water at 5 ml per gallon and achieve great results. The plants definitely stink more.

What's the difference between Thrive Alive and Superthrive? Is one completely organic?

Again, I us it very sparingly when I use it.

Green Fuse, I went with and without about six full runs each and it had about the same outcome. Roots in 4 or 5 days, real good ones by day 10. Aerocloners rock.

Liquid Karma doesn't really give you enough information to what the hell it has in it. I understood it to be a metabolic growth enhancer that could be used full cycle both veg and bloom and I thought the make up of Superthrive was geared more towards root stimulation, cell vigor, rooting and young growth. But I don't know. I only overlap 2 to 3 weeks of veg with both.

Is there a conflict between the Superthrive and the LK?

Am I countering each of them out? am I over doing on growth hormones(B-1) in the early stages?

Tex

The differences in SuperThrive, Liquid K, and Thrive Alive (either formula) are nominal upon further investigation unless organic derivation is an issue. I consider what they call the product (ie-growth enhancer/root stimulator) a marketing scheme because healthy roots and help fighting stress and assimilation of nutrients all equal the same outcome ....Healthier Plants and More/Better nugz. I'm not sure what reaction might take place if any when mixed. All of them state to use in addition to regular feeding and watering. Green Fuse states clearly that it should not be used in conjuncture with other enhancers. My grow shop didn't list WHY on the web site. I can note that using an enhancer like those mentioned has improved my garden. Good Growing.

Superthrive

Hi Folks:
Myself, I use ST and like the results. My method is simple for me....I dip the tip of a plastic coffee stirrer into the ST up to an 1" or so, then dip the stirrer into 1 gal of water, swirl it around and water my veggings. I'm just a newbie, but must say my vegging goes quite nicely.
I use guano tea for my nutrients.

Much success with your grow.

Watch em grow!!!!

shelf life...

Hi people,

I would like to know, if I have a bottle of Superthrive that I use for a past 8 month, is it going to less me trough another grow? ( 4month more or less ).

Sometime after I unscrew a cap, I see little dark peaces of caked up stuff( dried out liquid). Is that mean its bad?, or just dry matter under the cap?

Thanks.

anasha

That should be fine age wise. I don't know if it will last you through a grow though. I can't quite see in the bottle from here. Point it towards the Mississippi. Shake the hell out of it and those dried crusties get assimilated back into the mix.

let me locate the Mississippy...

let me locate the Mississippy...

I will follow that advice YourHighness. Judging by what I use ( few drops per gallon every third watering during veg. ) I should make it trough at least one.

Thanks again for your time and advice. May all your grows be productive onse. Be safe.
