Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze smoke report

Welcome back to the show friends. OK so pheno two leaned more toward the ssh in her growth characteristics . She shared the quality of huge sugary calyx development with her sister, but bud structure was more spear shaped. Her smell was very strong of sour lime pinesol fuel with an underlying funk reek. Smooth as silk on the hit , but with the immediate knowledge you just puffed some fuel. Great expansion with multiple lung tickles. Taste is sour lime pinesol with a pine funk that lingers. This pheno leaves a stinky funky reek in a room after smoked.
As for the high of this specimen who will henceforth be called "The Shire" is amazing she goes straigt to your head ...but then she wants to keep going...imagine Mr Mackey on Southpark when he takes some liquid and his head floats off like a balloon on a string...well this is kinda like that...ya a soarer to the maximum power...For perspective I will pack up some abusive or many abusive kabongers and get myself nice and tight....(love the high of abusive ...I can sit in a chair and just stare at nothing all day)...then when it comes time to motivate i can hit the Shire and bam ...instantaneous take off and zoooooooom!! Go from introspective to a chatty cathy in 2.2 seconds ..and other than the fact that the flavor and smell draw you back for another puff..her effects are long lasting ....if you are in the unfortunate position of not being able to puff when ever...she will stay with you for many hours
Yield was on par with pheno one ... Keep in mind both phenos were grown from seeds updates on clone grow will follow.
Smell-10 Taste-9 potency-9 ++ yield 8(yield compared to other known worthy elites is a 9+)duration 10
I dont like to do it to often but I have to give this pheno an overall rating of 9+ , absolutely a lovely specimen...One of THE best strains i have ever been fortunate enough to puff...let alone grow...this pheno is on par with the best the kushes can bring to the table...THIS PHENO WILL BECOME A LEGEND!!
For those interested in growing this strain, ODOR CONTROL IS A MUST!!! Do not go past 3 weeks flower without it!!
Hey sunnyside, all I can say is that ginger is a unique smell. Maybe you can find some at the grocer or perhaps a candied version it goes great with teriyaki sauce on salmon.
ps....just a side note...This genetic is seriously not for the once in awhile toker....nor for the lightweight (No offense but if ecsd is the strongest strain you have puffed,..you are in no way ready for the effects of this herb)

sunny, ginger, like pot, was put here for us humans to enjoy, best i can describe this root is spicy, yet sweet at the same time..divine.

Did you mention the high of the 2nd pheno? I'm wondering which pheno had the better high.
You mention the smell of ginger as I smoke some beautiful DP voodoo that I was thinking kinda smells/tastes like ginger- what a great quality to find in pot. Ends up kinda smelling like fine oriental incense to me.

Nice report and really nice looking plants Doc. When I heard of a mix of Super Silver Haze and the Sour D ,I had to chuckle ,thinking to myself "whoever smokes that shit is gonna get laid out". too bad SSSDH had such a short run, those beans were here and gone before I ever had a chance to snag any up.

I've got SSSDH going as well, the three females out of the pack are a few weeks into 12/12 and doing well; I also have 8 clones in vegetation cycle. What has caught my eye is that the lower branches are not going to amount to nothing, as I usually see (the little popcorn buds that you get on the bottom), but instead are consistently branched out pretty far and have the look of perhaps kicking out something worthwhile, even down low on the plant.
Wish I'd had more females out of the pack, but fortunately the success rate with the clones has turned out well. The plants are giving off more smell than what I've previously experienced, that much I know even though since I've started growing my ability to smell weed has become pretty muted. If I do smell it, it must be fairly pungent.
DrL, what did you feed yours? I do guano, maxicrop, CalMag, and EL microblast in a 3-1-1 ProMix-worm castings-perlite mix, with some dolomitic lime and cottenseed meal.

hey PHP, the branching pattern you speak of is a quality of the olden SSH rez used and i would die for. it caught my eye reading your post because my Kona #1 has a similiar...problem
the promix already has lime, no need to lime just mix very very well and till before use.

also if you smoke tobacco it may contribute to your loss of sense of smell, i have that problem too, takes a lot of disturbing, rubbing meristems and petioles profusely

Excellant report Dr Longbottom. And you got everything accurate. Some phenos better than others but when you find that one its terrific lift off weed. I didn't even produce this stuff but I'm proud of that report. Thanks!
Thanks everyone for your comments. Smokey thanks for the compliment it truly is appreciated coming from a puffmaster and all!! Ive heard rumor rez plans to make more of these here beans(lets hope he uses the same boys). Find the good phenos and you will be quite impressed. hey what strains would you give a higher rating to?
So far....none higher, but theresssssssssss are equals. The true elite specimens can sit at a round table and all hold their respective colas high and proud! (I'd say this table seats no more than a dozen...so you can fill in the other 11 spots with some of the finer Elites that may come to your mind)
Just a sidenote on her duration..I went out to a show a few weeks ago, smoked a couple fatties with friends on our way there.(Kinda place its to hard to puff in without blowin the room out) 3 & 1/2 hours later walkin out me and my bro both realised how high we still were when we hit the chilly air outside. peace DLB
