super silver haze from mr nice or chronic from serious?

Easy choice IMHO. Go with the Super Silver Haze hilbie. Much better smoke than the Chronic and can yield very well also.
if you are looking solely for fast yield go with the chronic BUT I would go with the ak-47 personally versus the chronic. If you are looking for personal and willing to let it go a bit longer and still yield decent go with the super silver haze.
Serious is great as is Mr Nice but I think you would like ak-47 better compared to the chronic.
If it was a super silver haze vs. ak-47 then I would go with the ssh just because you can not only get great personal BUT a better donation value for those who are able to vend meds.

i wonder how ppl can just say which one is right for one without knowing what he wants to do!?
i just had ssh in a hybrid so i just can say that the part that was given from the ssh parent is amazing - you get so high without any negative effects - the yield was very good as well but it did take about 11weeks to finish ...
chronic is amazing, the easiest one to clone ive come across so far, awesome yielder and good to very good potency - it could easily compete with the shiva skunk and super skunk i grew with it! but you need to give it about 2 month of fermentation time before it has a decent smell and taste -
so if you want to have a stoner with the option to cash crop chronic is the one for you! but if you want to grow your personal high only strain you should go for the ssh!
if you cant decide you might want to check out strains/hybrids like: nl#5xhaze, ak99, c99 ...

I have a particular selection of SSH that Ive been growing for about 5 years now. I flower cuttings taken from the mother plant as soon as they are rooted. They generally take about 70- 75 days to finish, at which time they are typically 4-5ft. in height.
The floral growth in the last half of flowering is astounding, and yields are always excellent.
Everyone who has sampled the finished product seems to regard it as a top notch smoke, and it is definitely one of my favorites.
By comparison, I did a 3 pack grow of Chronic several years back. While it is true that most of the plants I found were very heavy yielders, I really felt they lacked in all other qualities. From those seeds I recieved 18 females. I took my time evaluating them, only to discard them all after several months. I certainly don't regret having tried Chronic, but with so many other varieties available I will never grow it again.
I also agree with Medmakers comments regarding Serious' Ak47, as I too find it to be a much better finished product overall when compared to their Chronic. Ak47 does provide excellent yields as well in my experience. If commercial production was of any interest to me, it would likely be a great candidate.

dude you have no friggin idea how the SSH can bless you!! my last haul in my 4x4 cab under a 400hps i got 1 and 3/4 lb. and that was just a straight up grow, no bending or LSTing of any kind. when i get things up and running again im going for 2lbs for sure
the high is cerebral for sure, really gets those ideas flowin. you can chop half you grow at the right time, and let ithe rest go a lil longer to get a real couchlock if you want. nice thick colas, rock solid buds, crumbles when grinded on one turn. (god how i miss it)
i was gifted my SSH seeds and couldnt find the guy to ask where they came from, but after much research i would say i definitely have the GHS pheno, although i hear that MNS has the better if not original pheno.
if you ask me i say get both the CHRONIC and SSH, grow them side by side, see what each one has to offer and then cross 'em!! lol
once i get this ext grow of PRINCESS DIESEL done im gonna do my damndest to get some SOMA genetics in my personal genetic stash, i had some MANGO once and have been on a quest ever since.
good luck to you, but yeah SSH is yoru best bet no matter whose pheno you get

im not going to be dealing with much space, max head room will be about four and a half feet, im worried about the stretch of somehting like ssh, and i appriciate the replies, but im still wondering whats the shortest one would want to veg a ssh from seed? to have a clone right after rooted grow to be four to five ft tall is pretty dam impressive satch.
ak-47 would be on my list but i cant deal with a stinky strain, chronic is notoriously low odor from what ive heard , and ssh is supposed to be too, would u guys agree?

super silver haze is near the top of my wishlist, when I can afford it. A bit pricey but worth every penny from what I hear. Actually the price somewhere would come out to less than $100 (80 I think) for 10 seeds, if it were 10 seeds, but these packs come with 18 so it really isn't that bad if you look at it that way. I have to get me some, maybe as a Christmas present to myself, for NEXT Christmas. peace
we have grown/still have mums of 2 diff phenos of mr nice's ssh.. nice smoke, but imo overhyped.. def not the holy-grail
Four and a half feet of head space would be pushing it for SSH.
