A friend is giving me his 11 seeds, he buys too many seeds. I've read what seedfinder has in the way of info, and it has a great pedigree, but if anyone here has any experience with that strain, I would appreciate a description or opinion of the stuff. The height and harvest time [outside, Great Lakes] are of great interest to me.
Thank you.

That's Sunshine Daydream at the end of the fourth week in flower. I run mine for 9 weeks. The flowers smell of berries and hints of cat pee at times. It's a creeper buzz and it is very spacy.

I've never run it outside but of the 12 - 15 females I've flowered inside, 95% of them went 9-10 weeks. Appy phenos are most common with the chem structured plants being, to me, the most desirable. Bubbashine/Bubba phenos pop up occasionally, they are beautiful but not the most potent. Nose ranges from fruity-berry to chemmy to hashy.

Pic is GC pheno that went 9.5 weeks. l recently lost this plant to mislabling a clone...

Thanks. I take it that the Appalachia and Chem phenos are suitably potent? The problem there is that I am not sure that, regarding male plants, I would be able to tell one pheno from another. I would not want to go spermalizing with B/B pheno if it is lesser in potency.

I was with you right up to the bit about 'cat pee.' 🤢

Yep, the Appy phenos are pretty consistently good. Really I don't think any female I flowered was bad, just some were better than others. Just grow them out and see that you like without worrying too much about phenos. Unless you have hopes of breeding, I would just toss the males or better yet give them away if someone wants them because this is a great, underapreciated line.

Here is my first keeper that I ran almost exclusively for several years. She was Chemy in structure but had a buttery, berry, hashy nose. She was potent, dumped resin when washed, and didn't cause tolerance build up.

Breeding is a consideration, although breeding with strains which throw off various phenos can be resource-consuming.

Perhaps pre-pollen males could be texted for THC levels. They would not have anything like the levels of mature females, but comparing one juvenile male's THC levels to those of another juvenile male might be instructive.

Come to think of it, trying to identify male phenotypes (in there are any) may be beyond me. Has anyone here donw that, with any strain(s)?
Thanks
