Sunburn in budroom

I brag about my UV levels. I spent some effort in getting the UVB balanced to where the stunting doesn't kill the yield beyond repair.
I switched the overheads to LED a month ago and yesterday was the first due date from plants on the old schedule.
The plants were not ready, 7, maybe 10 more days it looks like. Hard to tell, my first LED grow and it all looks funny.

So I decided to harvest a 5 plant tray at one plant every two days. Find the new sweet spot.

Yesterday I spent three hours harvesting the smallest of the 5.
Today my daughter came over and after looking me over several times she asked, "Is that sunburn?"
My neck, ear, forehead, back of my right hand, every part of me facing the surround is red and hurting. Damn glad I put on the goggles out of habit.

I am understanding better the power of UVB, I was sitting in 300 uw, same as some of the plants get 12 hours a day. Yeah, the 25% stunting happens with good reason. The skin on my forearms hurts reaching the keyboard.

For those new to my grow, there are 20 Reptisun 10, 20 Reptisun 2.0, and 4 ArcadiaD3+ included in the surround. This is the equivalent of the middle of a cloudless day in the tropics, except it lasts all day long.

Enough for a good burn in three hours.

thats quite a lot of uv lights you have in there

I know that when I'm watering plants under my cmh, I get much hotter than when I'm watering under my 1kw hps. My forehead will be sweating by the time I'm done watering under the cmh.
