Suggestions for thermostat controller

Looking for a good, not too expensive thermostatic controller that will kick in and power up a suction and discharge fan when the flower room gets too warm. Any suggestions?

I use a Ranco ETC111000 for exactly this sort of job in my grow room.

I had several Ranco thermostats on hand and know they are highly reliable so the choice for me was clear.

The device above with day and night settings seems nice, for the price it seems like a real deal if it does its job well.

The only real addition I would like to add is this.

If you set the dials for 75°F and 80°F as indicated on the day/night thermostat don't expect those exact temps in the room.

Whenever you set the temps on any dial controlled thermostat, just verify with an actual thermometer in the room you are hoping to control.

Adjust the dial(s) as needed to get the temps exactly where you want them, then use a paint pen or something to mark where each dial should always be set.

The Ranco has a few more control options and does have a digital display which may be a bit overkill, its potential down sides are it needs you to do some actual wiring for power and supply to the fan.

I like the inkbird controllers. Originally started using them for homebrewing. They're dual stage so you can set different outlets to kick in once your temps exceed upper and lower limits. And I believe the settings stay the same even if the power goes out.

Why the TV2 over the TV1?

It would seem more useful to have a day and night setting than a idle speed control option.

I like the TV2 because I can select the amount of idle speed during the night and fine tune the airflow between 2 spaces on a flip

You can set the daylight temp.. then depending on night temps, turn up or down the idle speed... also works good to idle when cold air intaking to reduce sound

Ranco gear is among the best- industrial grade, widely used in process controls for all kinds of applications.
