suggestions for hanging lights?

any ideas how to hang a row of 3 silverstar reflectors and or kool tubes connected by ducting? the ceiling is drywall screwed to the joists

Sounds like my setup. Double up the pulleys and use large expanding drywall anchors in the ceiling it's a pretty heavy setup.

looks nice BCboy. i was originally against 2x4 becuase it can burn, but with the lights cooling and a bit of space i'm sure it wont.
