lo all
i bought a packet of Hot Cargo's suddenly schrom off of seedbay recently.
i put 3 in got 3 up killed 1 by user error and had 2 left growing. one has since shown as a male and has been disposed of. the other is a fem i think and has now gone into 12/12 today so will post its progress in here.
here she? is today. she was topped a cpl of days ago.

suddenly schrom, were Schroomy's SCHROM Clone, Romulan and Columbian Hybrid cross, lemony gasoline meets up with the TRC's Suddenly Blue (Sudden Impact x DJ Short's Blueberry) super big sticky indica. and Schrom Sister is Soma's Buddha Sister male cross with schrom clone.
from what i have seen so far thay all look very indica. hope this will produce some spacial buds.

ok 3 weeks into flower and this plant has stretched big time so i have been bending to keep it lower but it still got tall.

you know I got to admit I am really interested in the 3 schrom crosses out there. If anyone finds anything special I sure would like to see it. Too bad everyone is throwing away all those potential pollen donors. I still have some of those schrom meets sour diesel beans from rez, maybe I will start some one of these days. Anyways please take more pics and ful plant pics and all that. I have never crossed schrom to anything and just kinda watching to see if I can pick out anything farmilliar in the hybrids.

a quick update on the suddenly's.

they are now just under 6 weeks 12/12 and filling in nicely with good resin production.
quite a unique smell,cant quite put my finger on it.
so onto the pix

forgive the yellowing i had a slight wilt a cpl of weeks ago n they yellowed real quick.

how is the variation in those. I see some that remind me of schrom then other one that does'nt at all, maybe it's just the pics, but how was the overall stability of that cross?

My 2 suddenly schrom ladies, now in 3-rd week of flower are very uniform I have to say, and very vigorous, all the seeds sprouted in no time at all, and the growth rate is amazing.

But, as gr33nz said, they are stretching big big time, there's no end to bending them down.

I think I made a mistake in vegging too long (35 days), but I wanted to see preflowers AND nodes differenciating. I did. So I guess I have what I wanted.

From the look of your buds gr33enz, I'm going to be very happy as well!!

i only grew a cpl of seeds out and got just the 1 fem so can't say much on variation but i'm gonna start some more of these and also some schrom sister so will see how much variation they have then.

Hmmm, only a pic from 36 days. Day after 12/12. That was on 27.07. Today the one in the bigger pot would have been more than 130 cm high, if I didn't crush, bend down and tie the top 12 cm of the uppermost stems a couple days ago due to dangerous closeness to my glass pane shielding the bulb. And all this under a 250w HPS. You can imagine how little the light reaches into the canopy.

So they don't look very appetizing right now, but they're fine and responding very well to this brutal shortening. I actually kind of like this experiment in plant abuse.

I'll try to get a pic of the bending soon.
