Sudden Problem in need of Advice

Ok, so I have plant being grown in a dwc, shes feed with nature nectar with fox farm additives. I don't know her genes she's a bagseed from some "blues" I got. She's almost four weeks into bloom and today when I checked on her she was drooping pretty bad, she looks like a soil plant that's been under watered. Note, before today she didn't have any problems she was healthy and fit. The one thing I did differently was I sprayed pyrethrin Air Purge into the intake yesterday cause I notice some spider mite on the leaves... Any ideas?

If she was fine before you sprayed and she wilted after you sprayed, then it's most likely that the spray was the problem. Give her a day or two to perk up and then give us an update.

I would take a look at your log and see if it is what weedninja said. I always keep a log of EVERY-LITTLE-THING I do so I can do forensics, post mortem or otherwise if need be.

Sorry that I couldn't be of more assistance, I really do enjoy helping others diagnose their problems... If I had to go out on a limb, I would concur with weedninja in that it very well could be the spray if that was the last/only variable recently changed.

Good luck with this. Don't give up, you'll get it! :rasta:

Root rot causes issues with water uptake and your plant can look like that.

You could try misting the plants to wash off anything lingering, but I doubt that's the case.

If it is the spray it looks like it'll take a while to recover. If it's root rot you are probably approaching the F'ked stage where recover is not possible.

If it turns out to be root rot, throw her in a cool tub of water if you can. The WHOLE PLANT. She'll need to absorb a lot of water through the leaves and stems because the roots are shot.

Add some H2O3 and gently massage all the smushy dead roots out.

Root rot sucks and is the main reason I'm switching to E&F as soon as possible.

9 times out of 10, in hydro, when plants show the symptoms your's are showing the problem is too little o2 in the root zone or root disease. It won't hurt to check your roots to make sure they're white and healthy looking.

With all that being said, I don't believe in coincidences and I think your problems are related to the spray. The only thing I can really tell you is to spray the leaf surfaces really well with water just before lights out because it may be that spray has accumulated on the leaves and is poisoning them. Other than that, I think you'll just have to wait and see if they recover.

Good luck

thanks guys what I think is happening is combination of problems a developing spider mite colony, the spray, and the roots got so big they started cut of air flow through out the reservoir cause I do see some rot in the inner workings of the root ball... but I have vacuumed the branches, soaked her, and I think I'll be able to recover whats left of the plant. I one thing I should mention I don't know if its important, her branches didn't wilt and die all at the same time the went one by one.
