substiture for peanut butter in firecrackers

i HATE peanut butter...even cringe at the smell
so.... was wondering what a good substitute for peanut butter would be..i was thinking cheese might be good?

How about almond butter or other nut butters? Also cring inducing?
But cheese is also used : Leary Biscuits.

The good thing about the nut butter is that you can cook it a lot, and it wont melt into a liquid...
