almost

cup did not have water i sprayed the inside of the bag and the wilted cut

creates an artificial atmosphere and the clear bag allows the light in causing heat, raising humidity and causing condensation

if you take a plant with a dead root system and place it in a bag you can keep ti alive long enough to get root regrowth

just have to cycle the air

if for example you have a mom that the roots died but its not completely withered, you can do this to get them re-hydrated and then put them in a rooting medium and under a dome

Weird your kind of like Jesus here, I remember cloning and the first one I gave up on was the only one that made it, nice...

still applicable.
just goes to show, if you don't give on the plant, it won't give up on living.

A+++ I wish I knew about this earlier in my clone operations.. I cant afford a permanent dome because I am not at the grow enough to change the air out, but this would have been great for a temporary hydraation

thats some good info to know for future referance. i was almost on target with what was going on. water in the cup would be acceptable to rot or mushy stems was my thought after i posted. good post and info to save the plant we all love.
