What size bulb are you using? was using 250watt mh, now using 2 5000k cfl's worth 100watt each but only 23watt.
What is the distance to the canopy?1-2"

Please help. these seedlings were started in peat pellets and in 1-2 weeks they got to basically the size they are now with nice white roots at which point i transplanted them into these red beer cups with the happy frog/perlite soil.. they stopped growing and started getting these deficiencies and stuff.. whats happening?

The bag of happy frog was in a storage unit that saw 30deg nights in the winter and 115 deg days in the summer for three years.. if that matters..
They were lush and green before this.

Oh man sorry to see you're having problems. The happy frog contains a lot of beneficial microbes and fungi, and at the conditions you mentioned it was stored in, there's a good chance some of those could have been lost creating an unbalance in the soil. You may want to try and buy some new soil and transplant them into that, adding some perlite as you did with this if using the same brand. Also if your water might be hard, just water them with distilled water once you transplant to get them back on track, slowly adding some nitrogen as they start to improve. Best wishes!

Ok. I have an RO unit, but it was unhooked and kept in the same storage conditions as the soil so I'm not sure if the filters need replacing. The water still comes out at 0 ppm though. I'll pick up fresh distiller until I figure out this issue

bad soil. I had a bag of happy frog do the same thing after a few months storage.
