Stunted Blue Diesel Auto (advanced seeds)

Hey everyone, my auto got stunted for over a week at the beginning of its life, the germinated seed was planted strait into a six gallon pot, but because there was so much soil in the huge pot I thought it would not need water because the root would keep growing down in the moist soil, the plant basically stayed a seedling with just two nodes for over a week maybe close to two weeks, I thought something was not right so I gave her some water and then boom she literally exploded with growth! She is now a lot bigger than I ever expected her to get and branchy.

She did not show her sex until 25 days old and started to flower at day 30. This auto is supposed to be cut at 60 days from seed... So do I only now get 30 days of flowering or can I just keep her going longer? I hope I can keep her going!

Here are some pictures at day 25 when she showed her sex. The other ladies in the background are non autoflowerer

Doesn't look stunted to me. If autoflowers are stunted they won't get bigger than a foot tall. Being that it was "stunted" as you say, as in it didn't grow for awhile, it probably won't finish in 60 days. It's not even flowering yet and it's usually another 30 days when autos start to flower. If you want plants to finish in 60 days you need to use smaller pots. From my experience autos don't start flowering until their tap root has hit bottom.

Hey smokey, well maybe she is not stunted then and was supposed to stay tiny for a week? That is the answer I was looking for, I don't mind at all if I do not harvest in 60 and it takes longer. I just do not want effected yield or bud size.

You said "its not evan flowering yet" excuse me but you are wrong, if you read my write up clearly I stated the photos provided were her at day 25 when she showed her sex, she started flowering at day 30! They were the most recent photos I have of her!!

What do you mean by "yet its normally another 30 days until auto's start flowering" can you please clarify? You are stating auto's start to flower at 60 days? Mine is clearly flowering and started flowering at day 30 and she is in a 6 gallon... So I don't understand what you mean sorry!

Auto's can be deceiving. Most of the time they don't grow very much in the veg stage of their life. I think the biggest ones I ever had got to be about 12" tall and then went into flower. But once they hit flower watch out!!!! The growth rates are phenomenal!!!!! It's like you can almost watch it grow in front of your eyes. A lot can happen in 30 days of hardcore flower production.
I have also found that almost every breeder description is off by a week or two. That is they take that much longer to finish than what the package/webpage says. I have grown lot's of auto's and they all are like that.
As soon as I see the first pistils and a jump in growth(Like overnight it seems), that's when I hit them with flowering nutes, and watch em go. I've found for any kind of yield 5 gals of medium is needed. I had some Pandora's , Roadrunner #2's , and a auto NLxBB that came in at just under a 1/4 pound from single plants in 5 gal pails. They can be awesome plants to grow, you just gotta make sure all the variables are met they like if you want quality and quantity. Hope this helps a little. Early morning rant due to coffee and ojd's old school haze nugs, lol.

Hey frank, I understand they can be deceiving. That is very interesting because mine had a crazy vege growth after the stunt and showed pre flowers at 40cm and is now well over 50cm this auto is going to be huge! The only things I am worried about is... She has thrown out pistols at every single node possible, but there are no pistols growing from the heads and bud sites, she has been like this for about 5 days... But she has stretched vastly in that short time, just not much flower growth? I think she has another 40 days till cut?

Well you seem to know auto's and have experiance with them so I am guesing 80 days from seed instead of 60. I did hit her with my flowering nutrients a couple of days after she showed her sex, I just hope the bud growth explodes soon! Them auto strains sound awesome, wow 1/4 of a pound of each auto that is very imppressive, that is dry yea?
