Stretchy veggers

Any tricks for this besides a transplant?

The first picture I added a few non-stretchy Flo cuts for perspective. Last picture has a stretchy AK47 and Skunk (not as bad as the Flos though).

You could top them. If you want to slow down growth you could fert less. If you think they are getting to tall why don't you flower them?

Are these grown outdoor or under light?

If indoors i'd say witout knowing the details try and get your lights closer and get a nice breeze flowing over them to strenthen them.

some options for the short term would be.. Topping them, LST and bigger pots.

If i were you i'd take a third off them all, pot them on into bigger containers and crush them stems before all you grow tips after the pruning.. veg them on for another 4weeks then flower.

Good luck

I have found more light to be my answer. Color doesn't matter so much as having a lot of light.
And if this extra light is put to the sides instead of above the plants grow to the sides instead of up also.

The pictured plant has T5's turned sidways and placed close, vegging plants change quickly and permanant mounts are not practical. This plant is ready to have clones taken.

12/1 also.

Supercrop, LST or ScrOG allows a plant several feet "tall" to fit into 12" or less of vertical space.

Next time, start with smaller cuts.

I'm using a 250w MH as lighting...temps around 70f with the lights on, maybe gets down to 65 with the light off. They are kinda spread out though, I need another light ;)

I actually have topped them once. What is a good method for puncturing holes into the rim of a container to use for twist ties? I don't have one of those paper hole things.

So I topped again and stopped feeding. Might get some more pots this week and transplant everything that is stretching at all.

There are some other ways to do it. My favorite is to put a rubber band around the top of the containers and to use string to tie down branches to the rubber band. The strings need not be tied - just looped around a branch and the rubber band. Lately I have been using a larger container. For the larger container I use a couple of rubber bungee cords in place of a rubber band. The thing I like about this system is that it is very flexible as the strings can be added, moved, and removed easily. Usually when it comes time to flower I just leave the main stem tied and let everything else grow up.

T5 & 24/0 or add a heater so your temps don't drop below 70
