Strength as related to trichome amount

I've been growing a little over ten years and one thing I've noticed is better trich coverage normally equals better strength erb.Right now I'm growing dinafem moby hash,critical jack,and Paradise nebula,al supposedly good strains.At 45 days I have huge 1K hoglegs,but very little trich coverage.I'm a little concerned at this point.Anyone grow gtreat erb with little trichs?Sounds like a moron question lol I know but I've heard so many different takes on trichchomes.

I have. I've grown out a strain made by a friend of mine, NYCD x PKQ (Purps Killer Queen) that he and some other growers named Shut The Fuck Up. It got the name because when they passed around that very first joint of it, the room fell silent. A roomful of growers and daily smokers.

The trichomes on this cross are very short, they look more like velvet than trichomes. It doesn't get sticky-icky, but God damn if you don't smoke much you'd better watch out with this one! Indoors she takes a while to finish right, around 16 weeks, and is better for OD because of that feature, IMO.

I don't think they have much to do with each other.. An abundance of trichomes is great for bag appeal or for hash, but I don't equate it to potency. Potency, I think, rests in the concentration of actives in the trichome head not in the concentration of trichomes on the bud.

Well I was concerned over nothing anyway,very nice grow thanks to paradise seeds fem and dinafem.Its great how far they,ve come with female seeds.In the overgrow days fem seeds was a no no,and whether warranted or not,I wouldnt use them.Then they changed the law in regards to amounts and I needed to try them.I've done a half dozen or so 25 plant grows without so much as a late nanner,very groovey indeed.I wouldnt try dutch passion fem though I'm brave not stupid lol
