Its a brake bleeder handheld vacuum from the auto parts store. then I got a glass dish with a gasketed lid from wally world. It holds a vacuum at -25 hg for 24 hrs....prolly longer if I wanted.
The heat source for it is a coffee cup warmer, and sometimes I use a candle jar warmer. In all it prolly cost between $50-$60 for everything.
I'm gonna get an electric vac pump though sometime soon. I have broken 3 of the manual brake bleeders by jamming on them too hard, lol.
You know I never purged my oil, I can't say that I Put it on a heating Matt for a while and it did the same thing. Took a little bit longer I'm sure but people don't have to buy purging units. Just my 2 cents nothing more
