Strawberry and Cream harvest shots

just harvested a bunch of strawberry and cream, these where grown from clones, I did the seed run during the worst time of summer and they where badly heatstressed, and i had to spend a couple of hours a day picking out maleflowers (only found 4 seeds in totalt) (had 3 strains, 28 plants in total 14 of those where strawberry and all but 2 hermied, so wasnt the strain but the heat that caused it).

this time around I only found maleflowers in 2 of the strawberries, and ofcourse one of them is the best one of them all, but its so good it will get a 3rd chance and if it keeps doing it I will buy more seeds and hopefully find one just as good but without the bananas, I have kept 2 others as mothers and in most cases these would be very welcome in most gardens, but the best one (number 15 (dont ask how i got 15 out of 14 seeds...)) is just in a totaly different league.

anyways here are som shots just before they where harvested, smoke report will be posted as they are dried and tested, but my expectations are very high, eventhough the last grow was stressed to hell it was some amazingly tasty and very potent weed that came out of it, one warning to anyone wanting to grow this, it hardly streches half its height when switched to 12/12, so it needs to be vegged a bit longer to get a decent yield (or grown SoG maybe)

Straight killing it bro. I love mine as well. I have one left I kept out of 4. Man I can taste it now.The one I have as my keeper has this Franken Berry cereal smell with a sharp skunky chemical type smell at the end that I can't get enough of. Can't wait for your smoke report on these.

That looks fantastic man. Did you cut the clones yourself from an original seed run or were they gifted? I have two feminized S&C in late veg and I know DemonTrich is running some as well, so I'm glad to actually see some photos of this strain! Info on the cross seems to be very elusive for some reason so thanks for posting up.

any chance you can post up your grow regimen on this strain? like veg times, how they like to be fed, how many weeks flowering (please specify if you count from flip or preflowers).

I just tossed 4x in flower on 1/13. they haven't stretched and inch yet. lol my other strains are starting to reach for the stars. I can deal with a strain that doesn't stretch too much. theres always milk crates to raise them up. my old kyle kushman strawberry cream (RIP)would turn purple at week 8.5 thru 10, even the sugar leaves. any purpling on your buds? mine also had more red hairs than carrot top has. also, my fans are freaks of nature. HUGE!!!! 2"+ fingers.

Jd4083: I ran these as seeds first, but their isnt much difference between seed and clone, except a bit more crystals and taste/smell in the clones

DemonTrich: Im very bad at keeping records, I useualy just lets them flower untill they are done and feed them what they need when they need it, I have written down somewhere when they where transplanted from the cloning box and into the first pot, will try and find it.
As for floweringtime it must be somewhere around 55-60 days (from the flip), my White Fire was taken down at 62 days I think it was, and the Strawberries where done a few days before.
I didnt feed them too much, but its impossible to tell you how much i fed them as i dont have a regiment, I look at the plant, the greenness of the leaves, the veins and at what stage the plant is at, but it could take more fertilizer than the Blueberry x Girl Scout Cookies I had in the room too and less than the C99bx1 (which you could just pour fertilizer on), but it looks to have a natural light colour to the leaves so dont overdo it to try and get dark green leaves, you would get "the claw" before you get dark green
The stretch, they hardly stretch at all, half its height at most,, so let them go big or they whont yield much, mine should have been atleast 50cm higher, and I even let them get alot bigger this time than I did as seeds
One final thing, keep an eye out for late bananas, as I said in the first post the first round was stressed to hell so I dont blame the plants for getting a bit confused about their gender, but the 2nd round where everything was perfect and smooth I still had 2 plants throw out quite alot of bananas from around 2/3-3/4 through the flowering, I know alot deny this and get very protective and agressive when I mention this, but The White is unfortunatly bad at giving this trait to its offspring, I have grown alot of White crosses and all of them have had tendencies to maleflowers, but its not all the plants, and all the crosses I have grown have been absolutely amazing, so I just pick the best one without the bananas and keep as a mother, no big deal (and im good with a pair of tweezers)

well I just killed off my super strain (kyle kushman strawberry cream). she was a 6' plant that yielded 4.5-5.5z every plant harvest after harvest after harvest cause the F'n bish kept throwing nanners at week 6.5 for 4 of my last flower cycles running her. I cant deal with nanners or plants that throw them any longer. if the genetics are not right, then this strain will go in the bin as well and a not so nice letter to connoisseur(sp) genetics will be in order thanking them for wasting my money and time on a sub-par genetic strain.

tweezers, lol, I used to go nanner hunting for 2-3hrs a day with my old kksc strain on 6-6' plants. 25 nanners every other day per plant, and I would still miss a few. which would then shit on my other plants. it wasn't fun and I really don't wanna go down that road again.

haha I hear you, dont want another harvest like the last one again, but out of 14 plants 2 are having troubles staying as one gender, unfortuneatly one of them is the best plant, but I think I have already decided to get more seeds and look for the perfect mother, only ever been 2 other strains in almost 20 years where I have bought more seeds and grown it again, whent through 50 White Fire untill I found a mother I was happy with and around the same of Sour Kush/Headband, so DONT think this strain is a waste of time, its some of the best tasting and smelling weed I have ever grown, one or two plants throwing nanners is worth it, its not like the promo kosher kush I got where I had 11 out of 12 plants being fullblown hermie (the other 2 strains in the room had no maleflowers), but I do think its easy to stress the strawberries, so just keep them happy and not overfed and you will be very happy too

but wow you i a great job on these

sucks to hear about the hermi issue
so did she make seeds or just throw nanners
as when i initialy tested my first room of fem seeds i made i did have soke girls that threw nanners so was going to give up on fems altogether
but when i harvested the room there were no seeds to be found
so after that i decided to go ahead with the fem seeds as some amazing things were found from them
there has been losts of test with my fem seeds over the years online and off and ive found a very small percentage i mean very small to show problems
i will say any problem with a room with some feminized seeds in and they will be the first to hermi up, im npt making an excuse im just saying
if the room has problems then these will show
also alot of guys have light leaks and these will create a monster hermi

anyway thanks for posting up your find bro
shame you had hermies, sorry about that bro its the double ended sword with fems
i hope the good one's make up for it and please do come back and let me know if there were seeded or not

just to make it clear to anyone reading this, the first run I did with these plants do not count as everything was badly heatstressed, and everything hermied also the other strains I had in the room, so enviroment not genetics!, the 2nd run where it was the clones I grew everything was fine and there was no stress, I had 14 plants (lost as seed somehow) and all 14 plants where very good, out of those 14 only 3 showed nanners which I find acceptable, one had alot and yielded very little, 1 just had a few nanners and also yielded too little but tastet amazing, and then there is the best one that also showed some nanners, but it tastet divine and yielded okay so I will run it again, if it still does it the 3rd time I will just buy another 3 packs of seeds because this is some of the best tasting weed I have grown, its such a nice change from all the sours, chems and kushes.

I have grown lots of seeds over the years, both regulair and feminized, and I found maleflowers in both kind of seeds, not in all the plants or all the strains ofcourse, but its just a risk there is when growing seeds no matter what kind, and there is a difference between a few nanners late in flower, which is not uncommon, and a plant where you arent sure if its male of female which is just bad breeding, and that is most deffinetly NOT the case here

I am not here to critique a few nanners, but to praise an amazing strain, and im looking forward to be growing more from you

Oh yea and very importantly, some of the plants actualy taste and smell of strawberry, its very clear and distinct (and im not the only one that can taste it)
