Yours look great. The leaf-calyx ratio on mine are not up to my standards at all, but I think that has more to do with the shitty 400w light and my not knowing how to grow horizontally after years of vertical, lol

thanks JW, I didn't do too much as far as training. on them (iirc 1-2x fimming, and 1x sc) I wanted to get a feel on how these grow before I start cutting/bending and shit. lol I am getting some lower fans yellowing and dying off. im thinking its from not having 100% light, they are getting 75% side lighting, but enough for a decent yield. I might put a 4'4bulb t8 mixed spectrum on the back side of the strawberries for a little extra light 54.00 at lowes :)

let me know if you get a shorter, tight node, and a super super pungent fruity pebble smell. makes me want a bowl of cereal. im hoping for a white and strawberry keeper. ill gladly keep 2 of them and make room in my grows for sure.

I am gonna pull the trigger on an early B-day present for myself. a nice nicon d3000 or the like. mainly for bud shots and such. I get jealous seeing all the bad ass flower shots you guys post up. and my 8mp camera phone just plain sucks balls. lol ill try and get some better pics under my t8 light above my work table tonight.

couple crappy cola shots. new Nikon d3200 kit on its way.

pic 2 is the super fruity pebbles smelling plant. nice fat cola

time to start the regular feeding schedule: 100%feed/50%feed/water schedule and hitting them with some budswel (on 50% days, organic guano, yellow label), and some newtons apple (on 100% feed days). they will really explode in 2 weeks, as my glues always do.

couple new frosty pics of the strawberries
the sc#2 is still smelling super strong. I ended up running a #2 clone in a 5gal pot next veg/flip cycle. im running the other 3 in 2.5 gallons to do some more hunting. so far its looking like #2 is winning in the smell, sugar coverage, and density of the main cola. the other 3 are nice tall growers, little leggy, decent amount of trichs, but don't really have any noticeable smell.

they should have about 3-4 weeks left until harvest time.

Looking good braddah. I'm going to be running some other CSG strains but your description makes me to give this a run after I'm done picking through the other packs. And I'm looking forward to the smoke report. Good job.

ok, so SC#3 turned on me. balls and nanners everywhere, and she spewed her nasty evil shit all over 2 of my beautiful big ass gorilla glues, both of whom now have nanners and balls.

this will be my last run on fem seeds, and possibly seeds in general. losing 2 huge glue plants (4zips per plant), is not worth running fem seeds or new strains from seeds.

Howzit DemonTrich, do you think something else could have possibly caused your plants to freak out, e.g., a light leak? I'm sure your a skilled grower and know what you're doing, but I don't believe one plant going hermie will cause your other plants to go hermie. Pollination by itself shouldn't cause your GG's to hermie. I would personally suspect an environmental problem if I had proven genetics going hermie along side unproven genetics. What are your thoughts on this?

Damn man, I was crossing my fingers that mine was just a fluke. Sorry to hear.

LW, I just built this room, its sealed tight. no light leaks. this was a new strain from seed for me (us), and their known to possibly have some hermie issues. everything that comes into my garden area gets wiped down, or at least the 95% im able to do so. after every harvest the entire room gets sprayed and wiped down 4x. im anal about my rooms cleanliness and keeping bugs out.

SC#2, found a seed in the main cola tonight, didn't see any nanners. she was sitting next to SC#1. both strawberries sit above my gorilla glues, and ive never had a glue hermie on my in 5 grows.

at least #1 (fruity pebbles) is still going strong, #4 is still doing good as well.
fingers crossed

another one bites the hash pile.

SC#2 went into the bin last night. I have never had a fem seed throw nanners and balls. maybe its cause ive only ran 8 separate fem breeders, and don't have too many under my belt. but SHIT!!, having 2 plants herm (nanners AND seeds) on me out of 4 seeds that popped. imo, not a good percentage.

Hate to hear it man

My #1 seems to be okay still and I think any pollination that might have happened from #2 herming was limited to just a branch on #1

I found the nanners directly under the flowers. in the past ive always found a nanner in the flower, not under it. I cut the bottom 3rd of both glues that were douched by the strawberry hermie plant. I haven't found any nanners on any other glue.....fingers crossed. so #2 and #3 went into the hash pile. bubble bagged them this afternoon. imo a waste of 1.5hrs (I also did the effected glues as well). pretty much nothing from the strawberries, the glue looks promising.

#1 is still looking and smelling awesome. to compensate for the 2 binned strawberries, I have a #1 in a 5 gal pot and a #1 and #4 in 2.5gal pots for the next cycle.

im still on the fence on running the 6x god bud I have waiting for flip. I cant take any more of this hermie crap. its not worth running seeds any longer.

pics of what, my nanner and seed filled plants? I already chopped them up and made bubble hash out of them this afternoon.

couple pics of the sc#1 and sc#4

ive decided im only going to run #'s 1 and 4 since I had issues with 2 and 3. #1is definitely a keeper as she is a super strong smelling plant.#4, ill give another shot. she still doesn't have a strong aroma, barely a strawberry smell, but she grows somewhat decent for being in 2gal pot.
