Clinton is the furthest thing from a repub. But then again, so is Shrubco. Only person I would honor with the title republican is Ron Paul.

Ron Paul, from what I've read and seen, is a good man. If anyone on here is remotely interested in politics, then read about him....he makes alot of sense....and his record backs his talk up, which is something 99% of the candidates cannot do.

He's not pro pot though. He's pro individual liberty, pro states' rights, and pro constitution. We just happen to benefit from his pro-liberty stance.

He's the only person I'll vote for and imo, he may be our last shot at taking our country back from the federal monstrosity.

If you look at a list of the political parties that took the White House in the last 50 years, or so, I think a definite trend is apparent:

1952-60 Republican, 1960-1968 Democrat, 1968-76 Republican, 76-80 Democrat, 1980-92 Republican, 1992-2000 Democrat, 2000-2008 Republican

IMHO the (voting) American public is reactionary they get tired of a particular leader after a term or two and they believe choosing an alternative party will change things, but as we all know different is not necessarily better. So long-story-short, I feel that the democrats have a very good chance in '08.

P.S. I also realize that this is a generalization, and some ppl vote with the same party every election.

our 2 party system has been hurting us for decades. Ron Paul is the only reputable candidate and even he is more of a libertarian than a republican. sadly the masses of sheep arent able to comprehend this and follow what the media tells them electing dumbass leaders. Ron Paul is the only candidate i will be voting for. if Hillary becomes prez, im moving. i dont believe in Socialism.
