strange copper like leaf discoloration in bio-bucket

Need some help please. Attached are pics of leaves that were at the top of the plant. Here is detailed information.

Using Bio-Bucket method pretty much exactly like BigToke (thanks btw for the great system BigToke)

How long has this problem been going on?
Just noticed problem today so probably 2 days

Are you growing in a PVC grow tent? (example: Hydrohut or any other non brand tents) NO

What STRAIN are you growing? Unknown but mostly sativa I think

What was the establishing technique? clone

What is the age of your plants? 6 weeks old. In second week of flower

How tall are the plants? 1.5 feet high with a diameter about the same. they are fairly bushy

What PHASE are the plants in? 2nd week of flower

What substrate/medium are you using?hydroton

What is the Water temperature? approximately 80 but I'm using Aquashield to keep root rot away

What color are your roots? White? Brown? Are your roots slimy? Nice and white

What Nutrient's are you using? Only ionic bloom right now

If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients? just switched to bloom nutrients about 5 days ago

What order are you mixing your nutrients? just bloom

What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using? around 1000ppm


What is the pH of the "Tank"? 6.3

Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equiptment? recently calibrated about a month ago

How often do you clean your system: example: Flush out water replace with clean water and nutrients? I don't really

What size bulb are you using? 600w hps

What is the distance to the canopy? about a 15"

What is your RH Factor(Relative Humidity)? don't know

What is the canopy temperature? approximately 80degF

What is the Day/Night Temp? fluctuation range of about 5 degrees

Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ? exhaust fan running all the time at about 500cfm to vent the room and a lighing exhaust of about the same

Is the fan blowing directly at plants?

Is your water HARD or SOFT? tap water about 150 out of the tap

What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? tap

Are you using water from a water softener? NO

Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched? NO

Have any pest chemicals been used? If so, What and When? I had a borg attack, I mean spider mites, in my last crop. So to be safe I have been spraying a little bit of floramite once a week right before the lights go out

Are plant's infected with pest's they shouldn't be

i dont really see much problems in your above #'s...
Your res is pretty warm- 80F You might try the ole frozen 2 liter trick to lower your temps a bit.

1000 ppm is kinda high if you have a really sensitive plant. (depending what pH scale your meter reads)

And I dont think humidity is on the list but having high humidity can cause the plant not to transpire well. and can cause problems like this.

Or its light burn. 15 inches is pretty close for a 600w right? plus its the beginning of flower so you plant is going to be stretching a bunch.
