Strains with the Longest lasting Highs?

I know this is totally subjective but I thought I'd pick your brains anyways. What strains and or techniques produce the longest lasting effects? Indie's vs. Sativa's? Waiting longer for harvest to get more amber trichs? Willing a plant to grow triches that last longer?

Anyone have the definitive answer?

Well I dont know anything about growing techniques but I would have to say Haze has a long ass high 4+ for me.You stay glazed on the haze man!

the length of the high can be controlled to some degree by the harvest time. the later you harvest the more THC that has turned into CBN (or maybe its CBD, i haven't smoked in 24 hours, i think its having a negative effect on my memory, you know you smoke a lot when you feel weird sober lol). this chemical can extend the high but also is responsible for that knock out stone (this may explain why every time i smoke a strong indica before bed i wake up high) i would theorize that sativas, though they have low levels of cbd/cbn (whichever one it is) can have a long high because of their cannaboid ratio. so it seems that there are both genetic and environmental factor which effect the length of the high. i would recommend you get a strain that doesn't require you to harvest late to get a long high as i you may not enjoy stumbling around for 30 min b4 you fall asleep and wakeup with the first words out of your mouth being "ahhhh jeez, im ****ed up"

I would say sativa's for sure..try the original Kali before they added some indica too make yields bigger and try Sage which is my new fav..or try the ISS from fed great smoke

Well it is not that all easy to determined the lonest lasting high, because it is based on several things, like the person cannabis usage, the person blood chemistry, even is nationalaity may come into the picture, or perhaps even if his parents and grandparents were tokers. Also if the person consumes it in food and how he smkes the buds, from using paper to smoking with a bong. If is used with alcohol ( drinking beer or mixed drinks) causes the buzz to twice the high ( Cynerestic affect.)

You are likely looking for a Sativa that does not have many THC antagonizing cannabinoids, and will have THC extending cannabinoids. Some good buds hit you fast and leave quietly for the next round of smoke. Others creep up on you and won't go away so fast. And mixes in between, so it may even depend on what variety was consumed before it and what a person really wants from their particular headstash. Of coure someone mentioned eating will take away a buzz, and it seems to be that way for most things. The many receptors are there and hold the "" messengers, and so it comes down to how long till the THC and various cannabinoids are released and no longer held onto. Exercise and metabolism probably come into play along with a host of other personal health factors. And SugarbearII is correct in that an early harvest will not have an enduring high as the THC has not had a chance to fully develop. As Docleaf said, Flo has a good lasting high. How is the smoke from a vape, long lasting or short duration? How about a bong and torch?

i guess some strains and not in the best way last long, are some of the mind numbing sativas. Your heart starts pounding and your mind is scattered and you want it to end haha. I had a few times were this reaction seemed to last. It would be fine if i had nothing to do but it makes work down right difficult. On the other hand i have also had indicas that made me just feel melty all day. But i like that. haha. All through the day everything i touch i want to be a part of. AHhhhhhhhhhh mellow. With brownies this feeling is a sure shot so i definatly understand where his post is going and somewhat agree. Also If im being a pot hog i began to not get stoned and it sucks. So i think its a balance of having a high last and pleasantly last. having the right tolerance for daily use makes the difference. Im still working on the perfect dose.

Isis from DP. I smoked the bubble from this and it was the best bud I've smoked (to compare selections I was getting mostly commercial bud in BC like Snow white, Jamaican sugar, Romulan-which was very nice). Creeper, hit you and came in waves and was very high in effect over several hours then mellowed out into mild bliss.

Yeah same here, I think that's as long as you stay high on the average without smoking more to boost your high again. At least with good bud. Some bull shit I had at times only kept me high for 1-2 hours lol.

My longest lasting, was original Big Bud, It was a clone I had4-5 years I got on a trip up to norcal. Now It is the only weed that could withstand a 2 1/2 hour surf session. After getting out of the water I would find my self driving the wrong direction, as in away from home, and I would realize that and just laugh ,then I would have to figure out that my last toke was like 3 1/2 hours ago. In all my years that shit was the best.long lasting crystally giant cola dense stinky shit. Too bad we lost it. Good Times
