One simple question. Can you store water in the grow spot in the bucket, closed with lid, for 2-3 months and use it in the dry periods? Will ph of the water rise?
Will that water be ok for waterings? Also can water from lakes and swamps be used?

just get a ph meter.. test local water swamps lakes.. streams.. also a ppm meter just incase.. u dont ness need a ppm.. but atleast a ph meter.. and storing water in buckets with lids proly wont work as well because still water can create some nasty shit.. what alot of people are doing.. grab some plastic.. dig a small hole near you spot like 10 gallons of water worth.. dig 2-3 depending on how many plants. lace it with plasticand place sticks and shit over it to camo it so it cannot be seen from the sky.. and u have little water spots to catch rain water.. or u can fill them up too if needed..

alot of the spots i try to grow near.. have water down far like 10 feet under were im planting. so once they get established.. i dont need to water unless it doesnt rain for a few weeks and its hot as balls..

yes you can ... you can add peroxide if your worried about nasties....I never have had any issues from doing so tho...last time I made several huge holes and lined em with pond liner...even with a few drowned lizards there was no issues

Ok thakns mates, so in matter of fact we can store water and close/open lid, and doesn't matter if the water is "stable"? Maybe animals urinate in there? Ph is a must then....
