I store my HID bulbs by putting them into a sock so they don't get scratched or dirty, and stick them in an old shoe box. Stuff some old newspaper in box so bulbs don't shift around.
I presume you have kitchen roll? That will stop them getting scratched as they rub together. Breakages are very unlikely, so bubble wrap or such like isn't really needed, unless you're going to post them.
The only one I saw bust, was sprayed while hot. I have seen thousands of the things to. I used to change lamps for a living.
