In what had my jaw dropping to the floor I am now just 40 minutes away from a dispensary or will be soon.
Stockton has joined the world in providing a Dispensary that will be in reach of Stanislaus county and parts of Northern Merced County not to mention Calaveras county.
This is good news for those of us who have had to travel 2 or more hours in one direction for the past 10 years to visit a dispensary.

STOCKTON, CA - After several months of debate, Stockton became the latest California city to approve the opening of medical marijuana dispensaries after the city council voted to adopt the controversial ordinance Tuesday, according to a city spokesman.
In a 5-1 vote, city council members voted to allow one dispensary for every 100,000 residents, which will currently allow for three within the city limits, Stockton spokewoman Connie Cochran said.
After a failed attempt to open medical pot shops in Stockton five years ago, the issue was rekindled last year after an East Acacia Street marijuana dispensary opened and was quickly shut down by court order.
