in my experience, it's always been pure sativa = sticky, shiny crystals (http://i.imgur.com/AilR8tt.jpg), and pure indica = sandy keif (https://d2kxqxnk1i5o9a.cloudfront.n...enu_items/266578/large_black_rhino_indica.jpg)
...and hybrids, sandy keif on the outside and shiny, sticky crystals on the inside. is this pretty much true?
have any of you ever seen a landrace sativa with sandy keif (no crystals), or a landrace indica with crystals (no keif)?
or maybe i'm confused and keif and crystals are the same thing (trichomes), but they take on different forms depending on the bud's genetics. or, while the plants are still growing, it all looks the same, but when it's dried and cured, trichomes become crystals or keif?
i did my first grow last year from a bagseed commercial hybrid, and all i saw was "crystals" during growth, but after drying and curing for a few days, my buds had keif. wtf?
